Rustynaerduwell's JournalTucker, and a bunch of RWNJs were all "Biden hit the NordStream Pipeline, he did, he did".
I wonder if they'll have anything to say about the Kerch Bridge. Show us whose side they are on.
My brilliant money-making idea: I'm starting a Go-Fund-Me account for a legal defense fund.
I'm going to pocket all of it until I get arrested and then I'll take out a few bucks to pay me as I represent myself in court. Think it could work?
Didn't the SCOTUS explicitly say anything abortion related is a state's rights issue?
Didn't it?
Edit: Thank you all for clarifying this for me, but doesn't their opinion still leave the final word on abortion to the states? I thought the concern was that a federal law protecting the right to an abortion could still be challenged by
the states, leading us back to a SCOTUS that would ultimately strike it down.
Does TFG love this country? He never said so. I posted a challenge to my tRump loving FB friends.
"This is for everyone who says Donald Trump loves his country. I've searched for anything coming from his mouth that says something good about America. I've read transcripts of dozens of his "speeches" at his rallies. I read his remarks when he announced he was running for President. I read his inauguration speech, where "American carnage" was his central theme. I have not found any utterance in any of that telling us what is good about the USA or why he loves this country. I have found a shitload of statements about what is wrong with this country, so many you'd think he hates it. Oh, I know he always promised to "Make America Great Again" but he never once said America is great now in any way, or really ever was. So, please. I'm asking for anyone who thinks he loves this country- show me. I promise now I will donate $50 to that great Donald Trump defense fund that he has never used for his legal defense or to his campaign for President that he will hint at but never actually run for if you can show me any time he ever said what he thinks makes America great or why he loves this country. It's your choice which one you want to waste money on. Showing a video of him dry humping the flag doesn't count."
So far... nothing.
Has anyone here ever heard TFG say something good about America?
To this day I haven't heard of any investigation into who dropped the pipe bombs
the night before Jan 6th. Freaking PIPE BOMBS!!! Why not ?
Another thing I think will happen after Moore v Harper and the R's take forever power:
I think they're going to go after the 17th amendment. Maybe not right away. But the popular vote for Senators will be a target for State Legislatures. If they get to count the vote for President, they're going to want the same for their Senator. I've seen little evidence of this, but it seems a logical next step for the "this isn't a Democracy. It's a Republic" crowd. I've seen no direct mention of this idea anywhere, but somehow I see it. Any thoughts?
With all the shit that's coming down before 2024, chiefly Moore V Harper and SCOTUS
I think the best way to guarantee Trump loses by a big enough margin that he can't steal it is for a prominent Republican- Liz Cheney or even Mitt Romney- to drop the R and run third party. It would absolutely take votes away from TFG, a lot of votes. Too many for any state legislature to usurp.
Even if marriage equality and abortion rights are codified into law,
I'm pretty sure some Republican in some state will take it to a Supreme Court willing to strike it down for "state's rights". It still needs to be done, but I don't trust this Supreme Court to let it stand.
Have any insurrectionists used the entrapment defense for their criminal charges?
Entrapment is "the practice in which an agent of the state induces a person to commit a "crime" that the person would have otherwise been unlikely or unwilling to commit".
Isn't that exactly what TFG did?
Seems a brilliant defense to me.
