according to Business Insider article today. (cannot copy/paste right now)
Title of article, "The Power Players Behind Cambridge Analytica Have Setup a Mysterious New Data Company"
These pp. need to go to jail.
Anyone here know if this is true? Just talked to Sen. Tillis staffer,
and asked him if it was accurate that Cambridge Analytica helped with his 2014 campaign here in N.C.
Staffer said they were forbidden by Senate rules to discuss campaign matters with anyone.
Do you have a redline where you will take to our streets to peacefully protest? We have over 9 mos.
left before mid-terms. We have seen that the widespread ACA protests were effective. He is not going to Great Britain because of the threat of widespread protests. I have seen Democratic congress members saying over and over to make our voices heard (i.e. Senator Harris).
Yes, I have called Senators and Rep's continually for the last year. I also have been and will be heavily involved in all efforts to oust rethugs in the mid-terms. Do you think this is enough?
Did you know when you call the Senate Judiciary Committee, ONLY Grassley is told your concerns?
This is per the staffer that answered the phone.
I called just now to voice my disbelief about Graham and Grassley sending the first criminal referral (Christopher Steele) to the DOJ to come out of congress re: Russiagate!!??! Furthermore, I conveyed that it is an abuse of power.
Anyway, when I asked what the process was to get mine and other citizens concerns to the Committee, he told me it goes to other staffers and then Grassley only. I was incredulous so he then suggested that I call Graham and Grassley's offices to voice my concern. Of course, I told him it wouldn't be a problem if their voicemail wasn't always full. Also, it was important to me that ALL members of the committee be made aware of the content of the calls they are receiving.
He hung up on me when I said I was going to immediately post this info on the internet.
Senators are telling me that their phones have returned to normal, pre-Trump levels.
Ben Wikler
@benwikler
Senators are telling me that their phones have returned to normal, pre-Trump levels. A few dozen calls a day. That must end.
1:43 PM - 8 Jun 2017
(Washington Director @moveon)
PLEASE KEEP CALLING
For those trumpers who defend him because he's "naive", "inexperienced", remember what trump
said about the Loretta Lynch- Bill Clinton "meeting" on the tarmac??
@realdonaldtrump
Take a look at what happened w/ Bill Clinton. The system is totally rigged. Does anybody really believe that meeting was just a coincidence?
8:12 AM - 1 Jul 2016
Furthermore,
He questioned both Clinton and Lynchs judgment for creating even the perception of a conflict of interest.
I think its the biggest story one of the big stories of this week of this month, of this year, continued Trump. This is terrible and nobody can understand why nothings happened. You see a thing like this and, even in terms of judgment, how bad of judgment is it for him or for her to do this? I mean, who would do this?

Repubs and trumpers have the audacity to push this?
This is one of my rebuttals to trumpers pushing the trump is naïve, inexperienced bullshit.
Russian diplomats (spies) go missing and then turn up in odd places in middle of nowhere USA
"Kremlin is waging a quiet effort to map the United States telecommunications infrastructure, perhaps preparing for an opportunity to disrupt it" per intelligence officials.
"In the throes of the 2016 campaign, the FBI found itself with an escalating problem: Russian diplomats, whose travel was supposed to be tracked by the State Department, were going missing.
The diplomats, widely assumed to be intelligence operatives, would eventually turn up in odd places, often in middle-of-nowhere USA. One was found on a beach, nowhere near where he was supposed to be. In one particularly bizarre case, relayed by a U.S. intelligence official, another turned up wandering around in the middle of the desert. Interestingly, both seemed to be lingering where underground fiber-optic cables tend to run."

More interesting tidbits in story.....
We were vulnerable before, but now we have Comrade trump (Donnie small hands) welcoming them with opening arms. We have absolutely got to up our cyber and disinformation counter attacks and defenses, after getting rid of all of Putin's American assets/agents in our govnt.
Anything I'm forgetting? Next wk. calls to my Congress pp.: No AHCA, No Sabotaging AHA,
Revoke Kushner sec. clearance immediately, No tax reform with cuts to the wealthy, No budget reductions to Planned Parenthood, Meals on Wheels, Disability, Medicaid, etc. etc., No infrastructure improvements if Trump gives work to his cronies and/or debtors,
Please add. I, again, implore all DU'ers to at least call their Repub Senators and Rep. (all of mine are...) Please don't relent!
BTW, I realize Jared's sec. clearance isn't under their perview. However, I certainly like them to know what I think.
Explain why Democrats in Congress keep saying it's "too soon" to be discussing impeachment?!!!
-Obstruction of Justice (evidence in public, FFS)
-Potential Abuse of Power ( traitor giving top secret intel to Russians in Oval Office - jeopardizing National Security and our ally(s)) Also, now public.
What's the strategy? IMO, at this point we look weak by not calling a spade a spade. Hell I'm aware the rethugs won't do it but the Dems in Congress need to not confuse the citizens by saying it's too soon. It gives the appearance that our traitor isn't guilty of impeachable offenses.
How long can this runaway train (leaks, thank God) keep going? Seriously, are we to wait another year(s) for Special Counsel to wrap this up in a bow? The impeachable evidence is public. Show Americans that the rethugs, once again, are aiding and abetting an enemy of the U.S. when they don't vote for impeachment in the House.
Mueller, FBI, and congressional committees can continue investigations into Russian cyberops, money/financial crimes, etc. Then they can actually indict traitor tiny hands once he's impeached as long as the statue of limitations hasn't expired.
If you feel as I do, call your Dems in Congress. I am.
I believe it's time to pass Special/Indep. Prosecutor and go straight to IMPEACHMENT
investigation.
The FBI will continue their counterintelligence and financial crimes investigation. Meanwhile, there's enough to introduce Articles of Impeachment in the House and then let Senate investigate Impeachment. (Obstruction of Justice (Comey) and violation of Oath of Office (disclosing classified info to Russians last week).)
When I called my congress members today, I didn't even mention independent prosecutor again. I said above.
snipped:
"this may well be a violation of the Presidents oath of office. Questions of criminality aside, we turn to the far more significant issues: If the President gave this information away through carelessness or neglect, he has arguably breached his oath of office. As Quinta and Ben have elaborated on in some detail, in taking the oath President Trump swore to faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States and to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States to the best of his ability. Its very hard to argue that carelessly giving away highly sensitive material to an adversary foreign power constitutes a faithful execution of the office of President."

I am so disgusted hearing pundits and/or congress say, "We are not quite there yet". Bullshit
