Because science says so, because President Obama took pandemic possibility seriously, the GOP

is doing everything they can to stick it in the faces of libs and science by DEFYING the urgent need to do this and that.

Why?

Because they have the minds and maturity of children, always have. I and others have tried to warn people about this for decades. Many New Yorkers tried to warn people that Rump was a colossal failure, an idiot, a joke.

This wont change.

There is a sincerely held belief by some religious folks that this virus is from god and meant to

push people away from secularism and back to god.

We see pastors (and hopefully attendees) arrested for ignoring conditions and spreading the virus at church services, BUT this very act on their part could very well be seen as their ultimate religious freedom right!

I am an atheist but I have a very close relative who is EXTREMELY religious, Christian, and is NOT a part of any organized religion and has very strong feelings on that.

I asked him and he told me that while I would not like the answer, YES this is god getting people to turn away from secularism.

Now I dont want them congregating, you dont want them congregating, and in the case of many (not all) pastors like Falwell, it is ONLY about their pocketbooks, of course. But there are some who are sincere and do this for religious, not greed reasons.

I still say arrest them if they do it, but then where do we put them?

Just thought I would open this up for discussion.

BTW when he said that this was god pushing people back to him I said it sure seemed like a hellish way to do it, all the suffering of people including what will be his own family members, but he simply said it is not up to him to judge and if god wants to do it this way, so be it...

How much money was Rump paid personally for the 17 tons of PPE sent to China?

Someone needs to find out, please.

Also, GOP states are under-reporting the infection rate.

ps Rump FACILITATES nothing unless there is something in it for him.

That horrible prick from Kentucky that FORCED congress into a room together to spread

the virus...

Do we know how many were in that room, the House Chamber, and were they mostly Democrats?

I assume he sent them there not only to stall but to try and infect members...

We are the proverbial "sitting ducks"...Rump will NOT pull back from his desire to

send us out and test the waters

Rump is working to KEEP equipment AWAY from governors that arent nice to him

Still...March 26th, virus is a BULLET TRAIN and the NO GOOD SON OF A BITCH

still has not forced companies to make the equipment thus also help funding it and guaranteeing it will be purchased

Some companies are doing it on their own, but he has the power to make it happen in a HUGE way and wont.

He is killing us.

Is the reason Rump refuses to send more ventilators to NY state is

because they didnt vote for him and he is waiting for a red state who needs them?

In that case if you are in any blue state, are you fucked...?

Unless you pressure the GOP in the house and senate to pressure the cabinet or form this

or OVERSIGHT COMMISSIN to remove him...

It’s a liberal pipe dream, of course. But, even if it’s for show, Democrats on Capitol Hill think they have another way to supercharge the 25th Amendment—and 67 legislators on the record who support the plan.

But there is actually a lesser-known provision in the 25th Amendment, one that doesn’t require as much complicity from cabinet members and others likely in the Trump tank, which some Democrats on Capitol Hill say could provide a solution to Trump’s escalating erraticism. Specifically, section four of the amendment, which stipulates that not only could the vice president and a majority of the cabinet take such action, but the vice president and a majority of “such other body as Congress may by law provide” can determine whether a president is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office” due to physical or mental incapacity. In fact, in April 2017, during the 115th session of Congress, Maryland Democrat Jamie Raskin introduced a bill to create just such a body—formally titled the “Oversight Commission on Presidential Capacity”—comprised of former elected officials and medical professionals, selected on a bicameral and

I hear actual patriots, i.e. not republicans, in CA are making them...Tesla maybe..

Why are we JUST SITTING HERE waiting to DIE?

Every hour he is in power, he kills more.

Anyone who thinks we can wait until Nov is kidding themselves, if he stays in power the numbers we will be looking at will be STAGGERING...

The only LEGAL way to remove him is to get the GOP to agree to use the 25th...

IF it is NOT used, IF it is NOT done, a LARGE PERCENTAGE of those reading this will be sick or DEAD in the coming months...

WE CANT WAIT...how do we SHAME repub politicians into acting to save THEIR OWN LIVES?

????

Here is how

If GOP house and senate members start pushing pressure on the cabinet because dems pressured them, or if they do it this other way...

If house and senate gop tell pence they have his back, if they tell cabinet members, that is one way...but pence would be just as bad so maybe we are just fucking doomed.

EDIT ____________________________________

Forget it, I just saw rump support at all time high, and they now say the reason he fucked this up was because he was being impeached, which of course had NOTHING to do with it and this can be proven two thousand different ways...I give up trying to get half the country to become patriots and use their brains.

Notice no John Bolton book?

WH is preventing it from coming out I guess

https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/03/media/john-bolton-book-delayed/index.html

The delay revives questions about whether the government is unfairly holding up Bolton's book for partisan political reasons.
"I hope it's not suppressed," Bolton said at a public speaking engagement on February 17.

America appears to be gone.
