Let's get Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski to switch from (R) to (I) to get the Senate!

Awhile back during the first ACA repeal attempt, there was talk that Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski, two of the most liberal Republican senators could flip to the Independent or even Democratic Party. Part of the reason neither seriously considered it was because there was nothing in it for them, no power could be had by switching. Even if both switched, the Senate would still be 50/50 and VP Dunce would have the deciding vote. But that's about to change.

With Roy Moore crashing and burning on his way to the sex offender registry in Alabama's special session to take the seat vacated by Beauregard, the brilliant timing of the Washington Post release of the information of Moore's molestations has hogtied Alabama and their ballot. Only Roy Moore's name can be on the ballot as a Republican, and if the governor tries to delay the election, it would be expected that the federal court will come down hard and demand the election date (December 12) be held, AND that they keep Roy Moore's name on the ballot, AND they mandate that no other Republican's name can be added. That will guarantee Doug Jones easy election, a solid progressive who is playing the right game to ensure his victory. That will provide the third seat, and with Murkowski and Collins flipping to either Democrat, or Independent who will caucus with the Democrats like Jim Jeffords and Arlen Specter, we will have a 51-49 majority and essentially SHUT DOWN Congress and Trump's agenda, unless he makes serious concessions.

Everyone in Alaska and Maine... send letters URGING the switch once the election is over. Ideally, the switch would be done the same week of the victory, perhaps by Friday following the special election day.

Industries identified for supporting disgraced Republican candidate Roy Moore

I'm not going to list the links or names on Democratic Underground. I'll let management decide on its ethical dissemination.

What IS allowed, though, is providing the link to Open Secrets, so you can see the industries yourself.

Individual donors can also be found, but I would abstain from doxxing for obvious reasons. Industries are a different matter, but even then I'm letting management decide.

Senator Jones will make a fine progressive senator in a normally red district. WaPo pulled off the greatest scoop since Woodward and Bernstein, and this will actually turn out to be bigger as we now have a clear path to progressive dominance in Congress next year, along with a permanent hold on the presidency starting in 2020.
