We have to form an army of citizens and come at him like a swarm of bees, new Broadway show

“We have to form an army of citizens and come at him like a swarm of bees,” Michael Moore said on the Stephen Colbert show Wednesday. “I suggested a few months ago that we have an army of satire, because I think the way to bring him down is with satire. His thin skin is so thin, all we need is like a thousand or a million little comedy shivs – non-violent, don’t hurt him – but just under his skin, because he can’t take being laughed at.”

In WI we have an 8 year jump on you guys..RE: treachery of the Rs

8 years of hell here. When Walker dropped the bomb of Act 10, our Senators fled the state to avoid the vote. Well, the Rs found a way to pass the bill without them. These Rs will do anything legal and illegal to hurt the people they supposedly represent. Never ever underestimate their grift and greed and cruelty. Tonite Lawrence played the clip of the US Senators yelling SHAME in chambers. He said he had never seen such a thing. We have. We screamed SHAME...showed up in numbers exceeding 100,000...all of it. Look where it got us.

Rick Perry's Bullshit Take

"Time to discard the burdens and costs of Obamacare"

- Secretary Rick Perry, in the Cleveland Plain Dealer

Department of Energy Secretary Rick Perry writes in the Cleveland Plain Dealer that since Obamacare’s passage, “America has been staggering under its burdens and failures.” He notes how insurance companies have abandoned its exchanges, premium costs have skyrocketed, and patients have lost both choices to doctors and insurance plans. Secretary Perry recounts his experience as governor of Texas, noting his home state “has done a number of innovative things to improve health care in ways we knew made sense for Texas,” innovations that “Washington would not have known.” He urges Congress to act, writing “there is an historic opportunity for Congress to finally empower people and states and move control out of Washington. There will not be another opportunity like this for a very long time.”

The New York Post reports on President Trump’s statement Monday urging Senators “in no uncertain terms” to fulfill their promises to pass an Obamacare repeal bill.

While in The Hill, George Washington University economist Diana Furchtgott-Roth writes that the "CBO should recognize that its estimates of the costs of healthcare reform bills are simply wrong,” saying, “what ordinary Americans know, and what is clearly not reflected in the CBO scores, is that the ObamaCare exchanges are not working and the system is about to collapse.”

On the immigration front, The Daily Caller reports that in light of the recent deaths of a number of illegal immigrants in San Antonio, some Texan officials have attacked sanctuary cities for enabling and encouraging human traffickers.

------------

In an interview with the Washington Examiner, the Acting Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Thomas Homan said he believes that sanctuary cities have led to increased levels of crime, saying “these cities are choosing to shield people who violated the laws of this country.”

The Senate will now have 20 hours of debate the health care bill, evenly split between the two sides

SHIT DAY

Senate Republicans secured the 51 votes needed to advance their health care bill after Pence cast the tie-breaking vote. The Senate will now begin debating, amending, and ultimately voting in the coming days on the future of Obamacare. The vote was too close to call until the last moments, when several Republican holdouts announced their support, including Rand Paul, Dean Heller, Rob Portman, and Shelley Moore Capito. Senators Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski both voted against the motion to proceed. (New York Times / Washington Post / CNN)

The Senate will now have 20 hours of debate the health care bill, evenly split between the two sides. Senators can bring up and debate an unlimited number of amendments to the bill as long as they are “germane” to the bill and would not add to the budget deficit.

Then a period known as vote-a-rama happens, where Senators votes on the amendments. The first amendment will be the Obamacare Repeal Reconciliation Act, which repeals most of the Affordable Care Act without a replacement.

If that fails (as is expected), Senators will then vote on the Better Care Reconciliation Act, which cuts massive portions of the ACA. Because of reconciliation rules, these amendments would require 60 votes to pass. If BCRA fails, Senators will consider what is being called a “skinny repeal,” which repeals the individual mandate penalty, the employer mandate penalty, and the tax on medical devices.

Once all the amendments have been decided and voted on, the Senate will vote on the bill's final passage. Mitch McConnell can pull the bill from the floor at any time. (New York Times / Vox / Time / NBC News)

I would like to say I am sorry for what our WI Republicans and all the Republicans are doing to our

Sean Duffy's brood mare and Sheriff Clarke on FOX right now. Telling viewers that Wisconsinites know what people on the ground are thinking. They are not interested in the Russia scam. As a Wisconsinite who fights every day for DEMS I would like to say I am sorry for what our WI Republicans and all the Republicans are doing to our country.
