Another day of trying to schedule for an COVID vaccine appointment without any luck.

Note, I'm just venting, so let me rant.

I've been trying to schedule a vaccine for my parent's since they qualify for phase 1A status in the state of PA a month ago.
Both of my parents are over 75 with health issues (although i know most ppl above 60 are as well).

Each morning and throughout the day, I login to the state's covid website and sign up / call to every pharmacy/hospital that is marked to distribute the vaccine in my area. I usually don't get any response back besides an occasional email that we will contact you if available to schedule for an appointment. I was to find a vaccine scheduling available if I'm willing to drive to another state (approximately 4-5 hours away). My parents are not down with that since long road trip really takes a toll on them. So all I can do is try again and wait. Am I doing something wrong?

To add insult to injure, couple of my "friends" were able to secure vaccine by lying on their applications. They are healthy and in their 20s and work for a major health care provider. They do not work in a medical profession though. They are IT professionals and wfh too. They mark themselves as medical staff anyways and no one really checks on their employment status. Honestly, I could do that too, but I don't think it right for me to cheat the system. I will hate myself if I get the vaccine before my parents.

This is a frustrating process and my state needs to do a better job. Their website is not helpful at all. Honestly, fb signup are more reliable in finding one. However, PA residents shouldn't need to scour social media to find an appointment.

I am happy (albeit a bit jealous) for everyone who was able to get the vaccine, but not there are plenty of ppl like me who are struggling to find an appointment's available. It is even more frustrating to hear some ppl are able to get multiple vaccine for "just in case" purposes. All I'm saying if you do get the vaccine, please just don't brag about it.

rant off.

Fun fact: President can revoke pardons made by Trump only if the pardons are not delivered in time.

Until today, I didn't know in certain conditions that a pardon from a president could be or rescinded by another president.
If a pardon is not delivered in time of the next administration, the next president can actually revoke a pardon from the previous president. Since Trump is issuing all his pardons at the last moment, it is possible that Biden can revoke some of Trump's pardons.

QQ. Is there a time table on when will NY finish their vote count for 2020 election?

I understand that most if not all election races have been called, but will NY count all the ballots or skip the count and certify it. Current estimate has NY only counted 78% percent of their ballots so far. All other states are in the 90% range of ballots counted and most are in the 99% range.

I find that it weird seeing that Biden only won NY by 14% while Clinton won it by 23%. I can tell that most of the votes remaining are from NYC. Is there a final day on when they will stop the count in that state? I couldn't find the answer through google.

Miami-Dade FL. This look very suspicious!

Trump gain 200k votes in Miami Dade compare to 2016! Something is not right.

600,000 ballots remain to be counted in Arizona

"The Arizona Republic surveyed county recorders and estimates that 600,000 ballots remain to be counted in Arizona. A full 450,000 of those ballots are in Maricopa County (Phoenix) and break down as follows: 248,000 early ballots (which in Arizona includes both mail-in and in-person votes) that arrived on Monday or Tuesday, 160,000-180,000 mail-in ballots dropped off on Election Day and 29,000 provisional ballots. Maricopa expects to release two batches of results tonight: one at 9 p.m. Eastern and one sometime after 12:30 a.m. Eastern."

Here’s what’s left to count in Arizona. At first glance this would seem quite bad for Trump since it’s largely mail ballots, BUT mail ballots that arrived late in the process are considerably more R by party registration than the ones that arrived earlier.

Reminder that mail-in and absentee votes are not included in the precinct total.

This is just a reminder for those who are watching tonight's results that mail-in and absentee ballots are not counted in the precinct total. So therefore you might see a state with ~100% of precincts reported for that particular state might not called for a candidate. This is probably due to a significant amount of mail-in and/or absentee ballots not tabulated. i.e. PA and AK

In addition, today's states exit polls are more meaningless this election cycle too due to the amount of early voting.
