The fool still can't find it within himself to act like a man and do what's right.

His immense ego, well documented first hand by his PHD niece Mary, and nearly every sane observer on the planet, simply prevents him from acknowledging decency, common sense or morality. It simply doesn’t compute in his mind.

This clown show is continuing in an embarrassing display to the world. Never before, to the best of my knowledge, and hopefully never again, shall we get such an extremely poorly vetted candidate to represent America’s values to the free world. This administration, as we all know, was the equivalent of a political abortion on which America stands.

We need much better candidate vetting as we move on. Were Trump’s shady financial dealings known? Yes! Were has morals lower than a snakes’s ass? Yes! Were his corrupt ties to financial institutions and corrupt foreign governments known? Hell yes! Yet he was vetted to run for the highest office in the land.

If we are going to move forward as a free and democratic nation and prevent this type of insideous takeover from ever occurring again, vetting needs to be greatly improved, perhaps with mental, financial, criminal and moral aspects brought into play during the process.

Thank God we can breath again. I never thought the election would be this close. Let’s hope this Trump nightmare ends without too much more damage.

I could swear that I heard Trump mutter "good" after the discussion about caged children.

My jaw dropped. Why? I don’t know. After all, it’s Trump. He was turning away from the mic when he said “good.”

If I’m in err, I apologize to all.

If you think we just "might" be facing fascism, read this from The Nation.

We all fear the unknown. What’s worse, is when our fears become reality. No matter what, it’s doubtful that there will be a peaceful transition after the election. We need to be strong, and determined.

This is the most concise and un-nerving article that corroborates our worst fears. If necessary, we all will need to stand up for democracy.

Democracies survive when all major players respect the ground rules. They crumble when significant players start to flout those rules—and get away with it. Gerson has concluded that Trump is only too willing to circumvent Supreme Court decisions, is perfectly capable of issuing illegal orders to the military to attack domestic political opponents, and would likely show no compunction in ignoring an election result that doesn’t go his way. Each time he’s gotten away with crashing through a democratic constraint, his ambitions have escalated. During the impeachment hearings, Trump’s lawyers argued that as president, he was above and outside the law. Postimpeachment, he has sought to implement this theory of governance.

Nows not the time to feed Trump.

With about a hundred days to go before the election, now’s not the time to feed into Donald Trump’s plans of becoming the world’s worst dictator. He needs us to protest so he can send in his goons. He needs us to rile up his base. He needs us to be the cause of the unrest that he believes will necessitate his remaining in office. He’s playing us, and we’re falling for it.

We need to be resilient. We need to keep our anger in check until after the election, because by doing so, we will remove the paper from the fires that he’s trying to ignite.

Yes, there are many reasons to protest, but at this point in the game, I believe that the best damper on Trump is not falling for his lure - not giving him the civil unrest that Putin told him to unleash. Our community, community leaders, Democratic people of influence need to be on social media, television, and any open public forum to plead with our side to resist his trap until after the election.

If we can show restraint, with any kind of luck he will be removed from office, along with his sycophants and will be tried for all of the crimes and corruption they have inflicted on we, the people.

Repugnant Republicans are at it again in WI. Someone please pass the barf bag.

Here it is, another extortion play by state Republicans in WI. We seem to be getting slammed from every direction, and it’s nauseating.

Tinker - Tailor - Mobster - Trump

https://gregolear.substack.com/p/tinker-tailor-mobster-trump

The author of this article, which appeared in the Guardian, says to read it with a degree of speculation. It reveals several things about Trump that have been born from the Mueller report as well as from the Simpson and Fritsch book, Crime In Progress. It is a very interesting read.

People in Washington must have known much about Donald Trump before he ran for president, but yet, there he is, a possible (?) Confidential Informant.

If true, it’s no surprise. Not too much startles me anymore about the most compromised and corrupt President this country has ever suffered under.

Senator: Ease gathering ban for worship

Source: Milwaukee Journal

More mental diarrhea from a Republican politician. He just doesn’t quite get what’s going on, and yet, was elected to a position of authority.

Apparently, Wisconsin State Senator David Craig doesn’t quite get the gist of the pandemic.

“As state government takes steps to protect the well-being of Wisconsinites, it is also important that state government not infringe upon fundamental rights of our citizenry, including the free exercise rights of individuals seeking to worship according to the dictates of their conscience.”

Now then, aside the oblivious repercussions of group gatherings, let’s talk about the proximity of pews and the six foot social separation suggestions. Pews that from the back of one pew to the front edge of the following pew, might be three feet apart. Oops! Won’t work. More than half (wild guess) would never fit into the church under those circumstances.

This was just another mindless dribble from a Republican who still believes Lindbaugh and Hannity that this is no more than the flu. Absurd!

I found the debate to lack substance.

In my opinion, there were a few questions that resonated with voters, but not enough to address the serious issues that are so crucial at this point in America. There was plenty of bluster for position, but not nearly enough issue oriented debate. The questions from the moderators lacked substance, almost like they were afraid to bring up the corruption of what’s his name in the Oval Office, how to deal with the aftermath of coverups, foreign intervention, vote rigging, the dismantling of the Justice Department, the emoluments clause, issues involving gun deaths in the country, the threat of white supremacy, the narrowing of wealth (mildly addressed), securing the basic tenets of the constitution, ......

All in all, this was more of a personality event than a substantive debate. No one candidate came out a winner.

Many thanks for the Valentine.

Sometimes I think that I vent too much. I post and then start my day so I don’t often get back to reply.

In any event, I view myself as sort of a silent member. I greatly respect and appreciate the opinions of those with much more insight, knowledge, intelligence and credibility than myself.

So, I was flattered that I was given a heart. Thank you.
