I have an idea on how to persuade Trump voters to wear masks.
And my idea could make me rich. I think I could easily sell many millions of these special masks to most of the 63 million Trump voters.
I will incorporate a KN95 filter into a KKK hood.
And for a small extra fee, the buyer can have a Nazi flag, SS lightning bolts, or MAGA embroidered on the mask.
I realize that not every Trump voter is a racist, but at $10 per hood/mask, I should get 99.5% of Trump voters willing to buy the hood/mask.

If the rich and connected are exempt from the law, we do not have equal justice under the law.
If the laws only apply to the non-rich, the non-white, and the non-connected, or any combination of the above, we do not have a rule of law, and we cannot have equal justice under the law.
If the law only regulates non-whites, the police are a modern day equivalent of slave patrols.
If the law only regulates the non-rich, and non-connected, we have an oligarchy.
I am hoping and I will soon be working as a volunteer for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and if they win, we must pressure our politicians to insure that the rich and connected are subject to the law that applies to the rest of us.
And if that is done, Trump and his (so far) unindicted co-conspirators will spend the rest of their lives in jail, on bail, or in court.
It is not enough to put Democrats in control, it is equally important to the future of the US democratic experiment that we have equal justice under the law.
Do you honestly think a jury could be impaneled to convict trump of political crimes?
This question was posed in a response to one of my posts yesterday. And it is a good question.
But for me, the larger question is, does the US operate under the rule of law, or not?
And that question can be answered yes and no. In many cases, there is one law for the rich, and one for the rest of us.
There is one law for the whites, and one for the (now) majority of the US.
There is law for men, and another law for women.
However, these things aside, I feel that Trump, and his crime family, and their associates, should feel the pressure of the Justice Department, at the Federal and local levels, for as long as they all live.
They should all spend their days conferring with their attorneys, and raising funds, and trying to hide their assets, and in general suffering for the rest of their lives.
No, this would not bring back one victim of COVID19, or truly compensate the many victims of Trump's various crimes, but he and his cabal need to live with stress and pressure forever.
In 2009, President Obama made a decision to not investigate the Bush/Cheney Administration.
He did this in the interest of looking forward, and to show that he was committed to working with both sides, and bringing both sides together.
The GOP, the leadership and voters, saw this as weakness and Mitch McConnell stated that the only goal of the GOP was to make Obama a one term President.
For the sake of the country, and for the sake of generating enthusiasm among Democratic voters, it is my hope that Biden takes a much different course.
Imagine tasking VP Kamala Harris with forming a special commission to investigate the crimes of the Trump crime cabal.
And imagine a House and Senate pursuing their own investigations.
Imagine the Justice Department conducting its own investigation.
Some, especially in the US corporate media, will counsel caution, and suggest a bi-partisan approach.
Ignore that. When the GOP is in charge, the media never suggests reaching out, and being bi-partisan, and moving to the far right, laughingly called the center in the US.

I watched Michelle Obama's speech last night, and in my view, she will be the highlight of the Convention. Anyone who watched that speech and did not get emotional should have their pulse checked.
In my area near Chicago, there are 2 new BLM marches coming.
After those 2 marches, I calculated that I will have walked a marathon of marches.
Plus over 1,100 miles walking/running so far this year.
And we are starting Zoom/ voter outreach for Marie Newman in the IL 3rd District.
For stress relief, and spiritual relief, and overall health, I recommend exercise mixed with social justice work.
