Make NO mistake, Trump's impending pardon of US war criminals is meant as a signal.

Trump likes thugs, strongmen and murderers; this has been well established. But his impending pardons for Americans who were convicted or accused of war crimes while serving in the US military is a signal that anything goes for those in service to TRUMP, which is how he views US military forces. They're HIS forces- remember all his comments about "my Generals?"

He's planning on becoming a real out-in-the-open dictator. I am sure of it. This is an attempt to engender blind loyalty to TRUMP among military personnel- something all dictators need.

TRUMP before country, Party before country, message above substance, win by any means whatsoever.

Thus is the ethos of today's Republican party.
