Hundreds detained at latest political protest in Moscow

Source: Associated Press

By JIM HEINTZ an hour ago

MOSCOW (AP) — Protesters once again took to the streets of Moscow Saturday, decrying the exclusion of some independent and opposition candidates for upcoming city council election that has shaken up Russia’s political scene.

Moscow police detained 600 protesters Saturday, an arrest monitoring group and the Russian Interior Ministry said, a week after authorities arrested nearly 1,400 people at a similar protest.

Lyubov Sobol, one of the excluded candidates and a driving figure of the current wave of protests, was among those detained. She was grabbed by police in central Moscow and hustled into a police van, loudly demanding to know why she was being held.

Demonstrators were aiming to hold a march along the Boulevard Ring, which skirts central Moscow and is a popular locale for people to walk around, despite repeated warnings that police would take active measures against a protest.

Helmeted riot police lined the route and started seizing demonstrators from a scattered crowd on Pushkin Square and pushing them back from another square further along the route.

For the last two weeks I have been experiencing the Traitors trade war

I have car part on order for the Buick Encore (catalytic converter), that I own.

Got a check engine lite on and did a diagnostics that says that the converter is bad, (P0420), so..................I have been going on line to get the part, well the part is on a national back order, there is none in the United States, there are currently four on back order, I am on the list).

You might be asking why, well the part is made in China for GM, and the aftermarket part which I have on right now did not remove the check engine lite, even with O2 sensors replacement..............the ECM ( Electronic Control Module)
has the hard fault, even if you erase the ECM fault code. The platinum and palladium in the unit is not made to GM qualifications, and since this is a critically party to pass emissions, you need the OEM ( Original Equipment Manufacture part).

So, the traitors tariffs and his attack on a supplier, will now cause me the one in probably hundreds of people in the country, that need's to have the part's to pass emissions test for the state, and if I go in I get penalized and pay this asshole price to have his ego massaged .........................

So, this has been second rate traitor asshole wanna be runs around and goes to the "Volksgemeinschaft," while common citizens in the country that are trying to follow the emissions test laws, have been and are getting screwed, because the part has been on back order Nationally since May of this year when the urine hair colored asshole decided all by himself to create his deflection of his RUSSIAN TREASON and his involvement of a crime when he was involved in his campaign finance laws which is a felony ..................he really can go fuck himself....................and I hope his fucking trolls on this site can go and fuck themselves also.................I mean that literally....................fucking enabling traitors....................

White House buried Trump's call to Putin in debate night frenzy

The White House didn't bother to mention it until late Wednesday night.

President Donald Trump spoke Wednesday with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but the only reason anybody knows about the call is because the Russians publicly disclosed it. The White House made no public mention of it until late Wednesday night.

According to the official Russian account of the call, shared to the Facebook page for Russia’s U.S. embassy, the discussion focused on the wildfires currently ravaging Siberia. Putin spoke of a “powerful group of aircraft” they were using to fight the wildfires. Trump offered to help with this effort, and Putin regarded this offer “as a sign that it is possible that full-scale bilateral relations will be restored in the future.”

This latest round of Trump and Putin cozying up comes just a week after former special counsel Robert Mueller testified that Russians are still very much meddling in U.S. elections.

A new report from the Senate Intelligence Committee last week confirmed the extent of Russia’s interference in 2016 and how ill-prepared the country is as it enters its 2020 election cycle. Senate Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is also facing massive public scrutiny for his unwillingness to let the Senate take up any election security legislation (the hashtag #MoscowMitch has quickly become popular online).

The next debate, someone has got to mention this shit on what this traitor is doing...................and how many times after the fact has this asshole and his team done this, and then to have the fucking Russian mention this, to throw more salt on the wounds...............this asshole just doesn't give a fuck

Impeach his ass now.....................

Rick Scott claims Kamala Harris didn't stop detention center in 2014, 2 years before she was elected

The Florida Republican also shrugged off complaints that immigrant kids are being treated like criminals.

Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) on Thursday was asked about Senate colleague Kamala Harris’ (D-CA) criticism of a for-profit immigration detention center for kids in his home state, a facility where she said kids are treated like criminals.

Scott responded by arguing that Harris’ opinion did not matter because the facility had been around for five years and Harris had done nothing about it when it first opened.

Harris, of course, was not a member of the Senate at that time.

At Wednesday night’s Democratic presidential debate, the California lawmaker recounted her recent experience trying to visit the largely unregulated Homestead detention center near Miami, Florida. “There is a private detention facility being paid for by your taxpayer dollars, a private detention facility that currently houses 2,700 children,” she said. “I saw children lined up, single-file based on gender, being walked into barracks. These children should not be treated like criminals.”

And this is from a asshole that bilked millions from Medicaid.........................and did not go to fucking Jail, while running the company.............................but gets to be a Governor at one time and now US Senator...................what is wrong with this picture...................I forgot Russia got into the voting system in Florida...................and paul Ryan and his Russian backers with money help...............

This is in my opinion a good read about the FTC and Equifax deal

You’re not getting your money from Equifax because the government never really wanted you to

Mad about missing out on your $125? Blame the regulators captured by the rich companies they're supposed to police.

Few if any of the 147 million Americans screwed by Equifax in its 2017 data breach will actually see the $125 checks that were touted in a settlement announced on July 22, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) warned Wednesday.

The announcement set off wide ripples of media coverage. Many of those stories frame the matter in terms that are extraordinarily friendly to both the corporate behemoth that allowed the data breach to occur and the government regulator that’s ostensibly tasked with safeguarding consumer interests in the wake of this malfeasance.

“FTC Says ‘Overwhelming’ Number of Equifax Claims Means Consumers Likely Won’t Get $125,” the Wall Street Journal’s headline screamed.

Lest the subtleties go unnoticed, the framing of the story is clear: It’s your fault you’re not getting the money. Or it’s your neighbor’s fault; perhaps their cousin’s. All of y’all customers asking for the pittance you rightly deserve are just ruining it for each other.
