The poison of male incivility, when a woman dares respond to it.

These words somehow cast Ocasio-Cortez and her female colleagues as the disruptive and chaotic forces unleashed in this scenario, suggesting that they shattered norms in a way that Representative Yoho’s original, profane outburst apparently did not. (Perhaps Yoho’s words weren’t understood as eruptive and norm-shattering because calling women nasty names, in your head or with your friends or on the steps of your workplace, is much more of a norm than most want to acknowledge.

My father was a WWII Veteran. He did not speak about the experience much until the end of his life.

The few times he spoke about it, what he described was horrendous. The things he endured, experienced and witnessed were not beautiful. What kind of psycho describes a war as beautiful?

The people who think it's possible to send students back to school safely are those who have no clue

What it’s like at a school site day to day. Our district has 50 school sites, we would need another 30 to properly distance students.

It’s frightening and horrendous to realize the Republican Party thinks there is an acceptable amount of kids to lose. Just mind numbing. I fear the maggots here will go along with it.
