Trans-Pacific Partnership - Full Text

Just like President Obama promised!

With revisions to NAFTA (Canada and Mexico are partners!) as promised!

So when the naysayers start to pump it out - already, in fact - we can reference exactly what they are speculating and suggesting from the actual text.

And remember - not even Donald Trump suggests in "The Art of the Deal" that everyone gets what they want - they just seek the best deal possible!

"My style of deal-making is quite simple and straightforward," he writes. "I aim very high, and then I just keep pushing and pushing to get what I'm after. Sometimes I settle for less than I sought, but in most cases I still end up with what I want."

I'd bet Obama read that book!

U.S. women paid less in all industries, every level: report (Hillary Group)

Tell me again why I shouldn't support Hillary because she is a woman.

44 men and counting?

If progressive is about expanding equality and human rights...maybe some of us need to get honest and vote for Hillary despite - yes?

Women in the United States are paid less for equal work than men in all industries and a new report released on Thursday showed the widest discrepancy in wages is between married men and women with children.

Fathers earned the highest overall median salaries at about $67,900, compared to $46,800 for married mothers, and single women with children had the lowest median salary at $38,200.

"The gender pay gap is absolutely real," said Aubrey Bach, senior editorial manager of PayScale Inc., the online salary, benefits and compensation information company that compiled the report.

"Half or more of our workforce is made of women but we are still not progressing at the same level as men," she added.

Your Cat May Be Plotting Your Death

According to science, only their size is holding them back.

Source: Good Housekeeping (you keep them in your house, right?), by Anna Zambeli

They may look all cuddly and innocent, but your favorite felines could be harboring some ferocious instincts.

Researchers from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and the Bronx Zoo in New York led a joint study to compare the average house cat — that's your little Chairman Meow — to the big cats you find out in the wild, such as African lions, wildcats and leopards.

They evaluated 100 shelter cats in Scotland along with animals from the zoo, and found that domestic cats share similar personality traits with wild cats, including aggressiveness and dominance. The study also found domestic cats are often anxious, tense and fearful of people. The main thing that may be keeping their natural viscousness in check? Their small size.

Now, armed with this nugget, the Internet (or perhaps it's just #TeamDog) is convinced that this means your cat is plotting your untimely demise.

But don't worry just yet. Marieke Gartner, who was involved in the study, told CNET that it's a "pretty far stretch" to suggest that cats' aggressiveness translates to wanting to kill their owners. "Cats don't want to bump you off, but people often don't know how to treat them and then are surprised by their behavior," she says.

So as long as you keep Kitty Purry showered with catnip and whiskers deep in Fancy Feast, you should probably be safe.

SEC R-E-S-P-E-C-T!

Today, half of the top four college football playoff teams are SEC, based on strength of schedule and quality of wins!

Saturday evening, No. 2 LSU plays No. 4 Alabama. Alabama is favored to win!

For SEC fans, one more SEC loss for Ole Miss and the SEC Conference Championship would set up Alabama vs. a Top Ten-ranked Florida!

I know, I know - shit happens!

But you gotta understand, Alabama already had the shit happen! (we call it benchin' the Coker)

Now the shit happens to the rest of 'em.

Roll Tide!
