Long time no post, I have been following this entire time, just didn't want the Twice Impeached Former President taking up my positive bandwidth during that time, especially after 2020. Glad everyone is still here, for the most part and just want to remind everyone we are winning. Stop crying about the impeachment, move forward we have all 3 branches of Government and a get shit done President. Let's show America what it has been missing for 4 years.

Relocating from Oregon what should I expect?
Hi, looks like I am going to be relocating from Portland OR to GA for my work and looking to get some input on where I should be looking to live, I primarily telecommute but need to be able to get to Atlanta on short notice within 3 hours. I grew up in AZ but have been in Portland for 20 years and have grown accustomed to being around liberals and liberal culture. I am white but currently live in a predominately mixed neighborhood which I enjoy. I expect this to be a bit of a culture shock, I grew up pretty redneck but it was AZ redneck which is not exactly Southern redneck. My Girlfriend and I are looking for a liberal community, one preferably with some diversity and one that would have a decent gay bar that does drag shows. Sunday drag brunch has been our thing for years since we are not exactly religious. We are both college educated, I work tech and she does accounting so we make a decent income, not rich but do OK, we would be just on my income to start which is about $130k a year. I am in my early 40s while she is in her early 50s, although age is not important we are out of our college days but not quite ready for retirement. Anyways any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Recreational marijuana in Oregon.
So most of you probably know that Marijuana is legal in Oregon and recreational sales opened on October 1st. I had not smoked marijuana since high school maybe 25 years ago and after some thought decided to give it a try since its legal, it was the legality thing that kept me away in the past.
Anyways today I went to the dispensary just down the street from my home and picked up two very low THC strains because I am a beginner, one that is supposed to be an uplifting high that is high in CBD and the other that is a mellow high.
I just smoked a little of the uplifting one and wow, it's really pleasant with me feeling quite nice and not too impaired. This is supposed to be good for pain and I could see that, you feel good throughout your body and it's very nice.
I really don't see what the fuss is about, this should be legal in all 50 states and it definitely should be available to anyone with a medical condition. Anyways feel free to ask me anything.

I guess on the news there is a guy hold up in his home with a gun and mental health issues. I have a feeling this is not going to end well, and how in the hell did he get a gun if we already know he has mental health issues.

Today is turning into a pretty awesome day.
Made lamb stew, watched the Seahawks win, watched the Patriots win. Girlfriend is off to see Dirty Dancing the play with her girlfriends and now I am getting to watch UFC fights. Sometimes it's good to be a guy.

Some Good News from the NFL
MARYSVILLE, Wash. - Marshawn Lynch is "all about that action" that speaks louder than words. And he showed it recently when a fan lost his wallet at a gas station.
Local Seahawks fan Jason Lynch says he spotted the famed Seahawks running back at a Shell station in Marysville. Marshawn and teammate Ricardo Lockette were on their way to an appearance at hard-hit Marysville-Pilchuck High School.
As Jason tells it on his Facebook page: "I see a giant Mercedes van pull up playing super loud music. Marshawn Lynch jumps out and walks into the store. I thought about asking for a picture ... but decided not to bother him. What I didn't know was that I dropped my wallet."

I am not a Seahawks fan but I have a lot of respect for Lynch, Sherman and Wilson.
