I switched from Biden to Gabbard or Castro

I actually still like Biden a lot, and I will not say anything bad about him or why I switched.

However, I think Castro came off as very "presidential" and I looked more into his stances and I just like him a lot. I (very moderate) also really like Tulsi, my wife (very far left) and my mom (far right) all like Tulsi. I think she can beat Trump due to her personality and strength. I do not identify with anybody in the first debate.

I donated to both Castro and Tulsi tonight, hopefully Tulsi and Castro can gain some steam and keep going.

This post is not at all to be negative about Biden, I'm just trying to say I liked the way these two candidates performed. I'll vote for any democrat that wins the primary.

McConnell is going to take up the House Bill

One vote on Trumps bill, one on House bill.

I think it's a good idea.

It's likely naive of me to think the Republican Senators will vote Yes on a clean bill to fund the government.... But I have faith that they will.

You can't make people go months without income.

Washington (CNN) — The Senate will take two key votes on Thursday on competing proposals aimed at ending the ongoing government shutdown -- one backed by Republicans and the other backed by Democrats and both likely to fail.

One of the votes will be on a proposal backed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to fund President Donald Trump's border wall and reopen shuttered parts of the government. That legislation is in line with an offer the President proposed over the weekend offering temporary protections for some immigrants in exchange for $5.7 billion for a border wall -- and which Democrats swiftly rejected as they hold firm in insisting that the government should be reopened before lawmakers proceed to a debate on border security.

The other vote will be on House-passed legislation backed by Democrats to reopen the government without providing new funding for the wall.

Why don't we give him the wall for healthcare?

Wall is a stupid idea but not super harmful and not that expensive.

Why not trade up a real and good healthcare plan and him parade around his wall? Let it be the most beautiful wall ever if we can keep key elements of healthcare and make it better.

We need a better word than anti-abortion

Everybody is pro-life.

Not everybody is pro-choice.

Anti abortion is too long and sounds "bleh". What's a better word for people who are not pro-choice?

Who would be prosecuting flynn?

DOJ?

I don't trust them to follow it up the chain even if he has good info.

They give Flynn immunity and then drop the case, Trump wins.

Should we just start lying?

I mean seriously, that's what the R's have been doing for years and it seems to be working.

Should we just make shit up? Sling crap that doesn't exist?

It keeps us chasing our tails, while they enact crazy bills and executive orders.

Saw Keith Ellison on Daily Show

Was very impressive.

Made me a fan of him in one interview.

I'm not upset Trump fired the leaders.

When a Democrat wins, I'd expect them to do the same thing. Trump is far RW right now and he did what he does, make stupid decisions on the fly, but it wasn't illegal and it was expected. I'm not upset.

I AM upset about Trumps insane policies. His RW picks. His LACK of forethought. Pretty much everything he does excudes incompetence.

I fully support Sally Yates and I think what she did was awesome. She sent a message, and people are listening.

He tweets as camouflage...focus on the issues.

He does the same thing every time.

Announces controversial and insane nominations, policy stances, executive orders. Then tweets about the media or something else off the wall.

We (Americans) need to stop chasing the squirrel and focus on policy.

Distractions like this is why we forgot how bad Betsy DeVos was and why she'll probably be confirmed. Or after a week we will forget about this ban on Muslim countries.

He's normalizing our expectations.

Expect a mass server exploit over Xmas: Change root/su pws

I've been seeing a lot more Russian contact on my websites in the past week. This is not fearmongering because of the election, it's something I notice before most mass hacks.

Fake accounts made on my business sites, fake contact forms filled out, more upticks from alien countries. I run Joomla CMS as my front-end and I notice this stuff over Christmas happening a lot. 2 years ago it was Palestine hackers, the year before it was Turkish. I am not a security expert, I am just going on past experience and the number of hits have been ramping up.

I would change your superuser passwords just in case, maybe check your logs if you run a widely used CMS.
