Well it's about time!
"Nonetheless, the Supreme Court has now spoken, and the stay will end on Jan. 5," Bondi said.

During our trip back to my
old stomping grounds in the Catskills in 2012 we visited the Emile Brunel Studio and Sculpture Garden aka Totem Indian Trading Post, located on Da Silva Road, just off the NY 28 state highway, in Boiceville, Town of Olive, New York
Taken with my (retired - broken battery cover) Nikon Coolpix L22.
We spent 2 days at the FL Gulf for a
little get away. The last few months have been quite hectic. We had 2 family members (my sister and her aunt) pass within 2 days of each other and since then 2 friends passed recently so we packed up with out little Chihuahua and spent 2 days there. On Fri we ate at "the Hut" in John's Pass, Madeira Beach. Although we took quite a few pics I'll post two of my favs so I don't bore you.
The 'pirate ship' docked at the boardwalk.
Ice cream store. I love neon and thought I'd take this one.
I just found this and want to share.
This photographer is amazing. Enjoy!

My new camera .....
Recently my little Nikon L22 bit the dust. My bank account demands that I replace it with one similar in price. I searched and searched looking for a 'pocket' camera for those times that I couldn't carry much and I wanted something higher than 10MP, AND one that uses AA batteries. Well I decided on a Nikon L620 which is scheduled to arrive today. This new camera is, IMHO, a step up for me.
I was just wondering if anyone is familiar with this particular camera. I am a super novice photographer who's very interested in nature shots. Now that I'm no longer working (recently granted disability) there is more time I can devote to my hobby. I'd love any input regarding this camera. Thank you in advance.
Our little Ms Kandi - the (almost) 4 pound Chihuahua is
our 3rd Chi who gives mountains of cuteness and love. Like I said, she is our 3rd. Her two older brothers have passed on. We got her from a (suspected) puppy mill when she was only 1.5 pounds at 5 weeks old. It's incredible how much joy and love this little sweetie gives us. Her "sister" is a 14 pound Russian Blue kitty who loves to chase her around the house. There are times we turn off the tv to watch the fun as they play tag. LOL
I've always adopted large breed dogs. I overlooked the small breeds because I thought they were "yappy" animals but all three of ours are very quiet. As a matter of fact, Ms Kandi never barks even if someone is outside. No .... she will jump off the sofa and hi-tail it to the bedroom when she hears someone. The only time she ever barks is if she's hungry, needs to go outside to do her business or when she's being given her treats.
I couldn't imagine how empty our lives would be without her. We are so blessed.
Lesbian couple trailer set on fire
It's one thing for a homophobe to hate 'us' but when a sex offender with a rap sheet a mile long attempts to burn down the trailer of a lesbian couple and their 8 children, it goes beyond hate. It's pure evil! Please pass this on. The first story I read about this failed to mention his past convictions.

My Fav "Misty Morning" pic
that I took from the porch on the farm in upstate NY. Oh how I miss it up there.
Took this in July 2013 - sunrise
This was taken at the water department in Plant City, FL, where I work. I was surprised at how well it turned out because I have a cheap cell phone. LOL
