Yeah, I think it won't cover all gray hair.

Mine has streaks where it is getting lighter (I'm 58). Most of my life my hair had natural auburn highlights in it. (Red hair runs in my family).

I have read some stuff that says that henna can turn gray hair orange.

I guess I figure if some people can dye their hair purple, magenta, or bright lime green, well...orange might not be too bad.

However, I am aware that henna comes in different colors and can be mixed to create different shades and highlights.

I look at it as an adventure.

And like I posted below, the fashion police can get off of my lawn! They don't pay the bills for me to fit their requirements, and my body belongs to me, anyways!

So very glad, and so relieved to see you posting, Salmon.

luv_mykatz here. I had to open a new DU account (see my post in Welcome and Help).

It is a bit embarrassing.

Any way, I am very glad and relieved to get my LOL Cats fix.

I especially loved "He know our language". Those eyes... just perfect!

And...dingy noise...not warm...and not comfortable to sit on.
That would be my cat...I am surprised she isn't out here right now. Her antics are part of the reason why I lost the email account that my DU account was registered with.

And all the squees this week...I guess we were all really in need of some healing cuteness.

And poor old Nearsighted Norville! I sure hope he did not become catfood.

My own eyesight is getting pretty bleary. I have been up all night. Better go to bed.

Thanks Salmon, for all the work you put into this.

Hey, I second Cleita's suggestion.

Send them to Kilauea.

Oh, Madam Pele, we have a delivery for you.

And thanks, Reverend Al. Somebody needs to speak truth to power.

I was living at the coast at the time.

Did not have a t.v. then, because you had to have cable or satellite and we were too poor for that.
So, I would've learned the terrible news from either the news paper or the radio. I seem to remember that I heard it from my former husband, when he got home from work.

I remember crying...a lot.

John was my favorite Beetle. I grew up listening to their music, and all the rest of what is now considered Classic Rock.

1980 was a terrible year: Ronnie Raygun became President; Mt. St. Helens violently erupted, killing many animals and about 58 people, blowing down thousands of acres of forests, etc. And, John Lennon was murdered by some scum sucking pig who wanted his 15 minutes of fame. Not a year I would want to live over again.

I would also rejoice if...

Liars Larson went down to defeat.

Count me perfectly proud to be from Havanna on the Willamette.

Even though I don't like talk radio...

I am sorry to hear this.

Bain seems to be the bane of free thinkers everywhere.

Down with Clear Bull$hit(channel).

Thank you for the heads up, Poll_Blind.

I will have to find time to check this out.

And, I hope you find something in Eugene, which is comparable.

It seems ironic that PDX would have something like this, while Eugene doesn't?

You are welcome.

And, you've probably seen it, but somebody posted a cartoon showing a bulldozer shoving congress critters off of the cliff.

Hey, drastic times call for drastic measures, and all that....

That was my fave, as well.

And it was what originally brought me to this site. I think the rec came from a post by the Rude Pundit.

I am glad to see that someone is trying to pick up the torch. Carry on!

Kicking.

And I signed the petition.
