No Vested Interest
No Vested Interest's Journal"Cincinnati" misspelled in title above.
It's not uncommon.
Anyway, Cincinnati would appreciate it if you would correct.

It hurts me that you hurt.....
Try to get outside as much as possible, without people distractions....
Glad to know cameras are now permitted. This should at least cut down on
bullying, stealing, etc. by some staff.
Staff will soon know which and where cameras are installed, and even possibly cut them off, turn them around backwards or anything that can be done to interrupt filming.
Many aides are poorly trained and not suited psychologically for the work of caring for aged or inform persons.
It is hard work to care for these residents; many are immature and not up to the task.
Oh, how I wish I had one of those....
Now caring for it and cleaning up after it would be a problem, though...
Dec. 7, 1941 - Japanese bomb Pearl Harbor.
I recall my Dad coming into our kitchen on that Sunday and telling my Mother and me that the "Japs" had bombed Pearl Harbor.
("Japs" was a term routinely used at that time, even in headlines in newspapers, etc.)
You may notice we haven't heard one peep or photo of her.

He' s just doing his usual blowhard routine - he can't stop himself.
Was on a 5-day Elderhostel in St. Augustine ca 6 years ago.
Definitely a good place to visit.
Our hotel was closer to the ocean; most meals were taken there, and transport to historic and scenic sites provided.
Recommended.
Yes, Sprink, the pandemic has taken a toll on so many of us.
I struggle quite a bit as well, with lower energy and the knowledge that personal aging came at the same time as the pandemic.
We're old enough to know that there's a lot we can't control, and we have to let go of some of it.
Our worry, our concern won't change Israel/Palestine and internal corruption in some places here.
Important to get our rest (say I near 3 a.m., but I sleep in these days.)
Put worries up on a shelf at night - they'll still be there tomorrow if we want to take them on.
Thank the Lord each night for the small accomplishments of the day, eating healthily, taking a shower (yeah), being civil to those you meet.
We're always here.
Sleep well.
