No Vested Interest
No Vested Interest's JournalMy adult daughter lives in a long-term care facility. She has many medical conditions
requiring monitoring and care I cannot give her; however, she is mobile and goes out to medical appointments.
Her caregiver drove her into my driveway after several of her appointments, giving me the only chance we had to physically see one another during lockdown. That was a blessing to me and to her.
He would describe me that way as well. I'd be toast, or ashes.
Sorry, I'm not ready yet for his trash heap; still have work on earth and responsibilities, even though the body is not so great.
Can't wait until my ballot arrives in early Oct. I'll hand-deliver it to my local Board of Elections to remove 45 asap, and I'll vote Dem the rest of the ticket.

I envy you.
Hubby and I used to belong to a local walking club as well as Volksmarch, an international walking group.
Those were among the best years of our lives - we were in our 50s.
I saw two Biden ads on the national news tonight - ABC, NBC, or CBS.
They were well-done. - good
Beautiful model; beautiful work....
Apparently not Georgia, as I just learned here on DU that the Nov. election
is a primary, and that the top two vote-getters will run against one another in January.
With a Dem VP and 50 Dem Senators, All the Senate Committees would have
Dem chair persons -- I guess/hope.
Which senators-elect will be sworn in before January, i.e., those elected
to fill a vacancy or as a result of a special election?
Georgia?
Arizona?
Other state ?
