And you lift me up as well, Sunriser.

Hope the sun is shining where you are.....

I'm a big-time procrastinater. But today I telephoned my dear college friend

and room-mate, who I hadn't spoken to for over a year.
Great conversation, and I'm feeling so good that I finally made the time to phone her.
The glow of finally doing what I hadn't made time for, plus the great re-connect itself, should last me for a few days.

Moral: Don't put off what will improve your life and outlook.

You did well, sunriser, indeed finding the perfect picture...

It was a delight to open the page and find such a beautiful sight.
Warms and calms me at the same time.
Hope your search and eventually finding this brought you some moments of peace and calm...
Peace....

Hoping the coming spring and summer days will bring you the opportunity

to be outside in healing warmth and just observing life around you - the people passing by, the small animals living their lives, the plant life coming alive again and changing a little by little each day.

I too have worried about my vulnerability to Covid 19, knowing my age and "underlying conditions" would surely take me off. I'm largely distracted from thinking about that too much by distracting myself with online information and discussions and a few good tv presentations.

May you find worthy distractions to fill your days. Find some music on Youtube that reminds you of time gone by. Spring is here.

The problem is - awakened from a deep sleep you can't get back to that again before time to be up.

I'm one who needs - absolutely needs- a certain amount of good sleep to carry on the day.
That interruption of solid sleep can't just be turned on and off.
I certainly realize that part of the problem is of my doing by staying up to late, but that is my weakness and not easily changed.

I tell people no calls before noon.

Sometimes the phone rings anyway. I try to ignore it.

Old widow lady safe in SW Ohio.

Have only left the house 3 times since March 9 - to the druggist and a grocery stop. I miss Sunday mass and seeing life beyond my vistas.

Daughter brings me some fresh food once or twice a week, and the pantry and freezer have stocked well enough.
Haven't seen adult son for at least a month; his work involves public contact and he was feeling rather poorly for about 2 weeks.
It wouldn't surprise me if he had the virus, but the urgent care he visited said his symptoms weren't bad enough for him to be tested.

Another daughter lives in a long-term care facility and, of course, they're in lock-down , so I can't see her. She's very emotionally needy and my life mission at this age is to give her psychological support and get her to appropriate doctors, and defend her as necessary. At this time our only visits are by phone. Her facility is planning a Zoom connection once per week; I'll need other daughter's help with that, as my desk-top doesn't have camera or microphone.

I have several "underlying conditions", as they say, and probably wouldn't survive, if they even felt I was worth saving due to age. Live on my own, and enjoy watching wildlife in my back yard, reading news and stuff on computer, and watching TV. Sleep late and get up late. Very little social interaction besides family. I hadn't planned on dying in pain & suffering, struggling to breathe. Had hoped to just fade away some time in the future.

Have you heard of lying face down, to relieve pressure of heart on the lungs?

I understand that is being done in hospitals to assist with breathing.
Just wondering if that might help relieve some of your back pain.
