Glad you took care of yourself. It sounds as though you are taking a lot
of responsibility for your parents' care and happiness, and that is very important.
And you feel a little disappointed that you couldn't follow through as you wished.
As a caregiver we know we have to take care of ourselves.
I'm sure Mom and Dad did just fine.
Congratulations to them on 69 years of marriage.
They must be in their late eighties or early nineties.

I noticed that Fox News had this Cain fellow on as a guest right away.
Very unimpressive presence. 
I believe John Kasich resides in Westerville, and did througout his tenure as governor.
I notice that when Kasich does guest appearances on network shows, an Otterbein sign/logo is behind him. Perhaps they have facilities that he uses when he guests on TV. Or maybe his twin daughters go to college there (or not.)

PS- Kerry failed to do this in 2004. Huge mistake.
Don't you know? People rationalize; they can always find a reason to justify their actions.
People rationalize in all parts of their lives.
You and I likely do it as well, just not regarding something so egregious.
