Habitual liars tend to forget their lies; they forget exactly what they say.

It takes a very good memory to remember how one twisted the truth; most people aren't that good at it.

(I learned long ago that I'm not a good liar; I am a truth-teller.
A family member was a habitual liar; things did not go well for him in the big picture.)

Dear friend Sprinkleeninow, you are hurting now from several different angles,

and you have every right to feel the pain and stings.

Just keep the thought in a tiny corner of your heart and mind that you will get through it and survive, as has most of humanity that has suffered this intense pain.
All this is part of our larger, common humanity.

In the meantime, you have every right to do as you please in the moment, without apology to anyone. Just the explanation that you need the time and space to sort everything out on your own timeline.

Your faith is there for you, take what you need and what is useful to you at this time. Anything else will be there for you to pick up later or as needed.

I'm so glad your little furry one is there and present for you. I'm sure she misses her Daddy too.

Love to you in this moment.

Sermon at my church addressed this also. The priest mentioned that no punishment for the men

involved in the adulterous affair was proscribed in the Law.
Why not, he wondered.
Then he considered the importance of the act of forgiveness in our lives.
I believe that would be in contrast to "stoning" one who had sinned against us.

George Bush grabs Angela Merkel's shoulders - talk about invading personal space...

How would one explain that?
Perhaps that video clip should be played as a reminder of what we witnessed.

The love and concern you have given to others will be returned to you.

Meanwhile, You have this raw shock and sorrow to deal with and go through.
We are here and ready to listen and offer comfort.
Do not be afraid.
Do not fear.
May God bless and hold you in the palm of his hand.

I'm actually in favor of year-round Daylight Saving Time.

I hate the early darkness in afternoons during the late fall & winter months.
People coming home from work or doing evening chores have to work in virtual darkness, at a time when it's coldest.
Problems with other states' time differences can be solved as they come around to the same conclusions.

It would be better for Cincinnati and the city council if Young stepped down.

He's a retired Police officer and gets a good retirement there, one would think.
Young has little to offer in way of improving the city; others can do much better.
He misses many committee meetings, which are an inherent part of the process of getting anything done..
His health is compromised; he had a heart problem during last year's election season and for all practical purposes didn't participate. His name recognition, Democratic endorsement and wife's efforts pulled it off for him.

Some might think he's just collecting an easy paycheck.

Carl Lindner III, from Cincinnati Ohio, is from family of large donors to Republican party.

I'm old enough to remember when the Lindner family, which originated in Norwood Ohio from humble background, were not accepted socially by Cincinnati's elite.
Carl Lindner Jr., a devout Baptist, was generous to Jewish causes as well as many philanthropies in the Cincinnati area.
