So very sorry to read this sad news. Strokes are so very hard.

So glad you and your/his sons were with him when he passed.
May your memories of the 48+ years carry you through the hours and days when you miss him most.

I heard a commentator (can't remember which) say this evening that the packages

were not delivered through regular mail.
As I understand it, contractors are sometimes/often used for delivery.
Or it could have been individuals that delivered the packages.
I think the investigators don't want to give away all that they know regarding the bombs' delivery.
Sorry I can't be specific about who made the comment re delivery not being the US mail.
I normally watch NBC, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS. It could have been any of those networks.

I quit Smithfield products several years ago whenSmithfield was bought by a

Chinese company.
Sad news - the same Chinese company owns John Morrell company, and likely others as well.

Cruz & his people should have known that the first thing one does in political life

is buy up all the possible site names that could be attached to your name.

I feel better having the ballot in hand at home with the ability to research people and issues

that I'm not familiar with.
Then I can mark each candidate carefully and check.
No one is looking over my shoulder or waiting to get into a booth.
I'm very comfortable with voting in this manner, as I have done for the last 10 years or so.

Mediaeval Knight Re-enactor Dies After Impaling Himself On Own Lance

A mediaeval knight re-enactor died in Northern Kentucky Saturday after he impaled himself with his lance during a performance.

Peter Barclay, 52, of Virginia, was performing at the Society for Creative Anachronism event in Williamstown on Saturday when he died, according to Facebook posts. He performed under the name "Master Terafan Greydragon".

John Barclay, his brother, said that the accident happened "when his metal-tipped lance, used for catching rings (not jousting), hit the ground and flipped."

Barclay's brother said the lance hit him in the sternum and impaled him....

His death is listed as an accident.

His wife Elaine Cho is a cabinet secretary; her presence there may impact any decision

he would make.
Has McConnell given any indication that he's tired?
There's many Rep. Senators many years older than McConnell.
Giving up power is a hard thing to do.
