That would be during the Creed, I guess, and the petitions.

I guess they can be done in one's own time and space.

Interesting. I wonder if any of the Methodists get up and leave after

the Communion, as I routinely witness in another faith.

Would it be correct to say that Hillary's religious practice and views would be

fairly typical of an average practicing Methodist?
Or at least not out of the ordinary?

You are correct. And he talks too much - hogs the mic like his former boss -

who might still be his boss from the talks he spews.
I can't stick with CNN for campaign talk for too long if Lewandowski is on the "panel".

There goes a man with a clear conscience.

Not a bad trade-off.

Yes, I was very broken up when Adlai Stevenson lost to Dwight Eisenhower.

I'm sure I felt just as bad at other Dem. candidate's losses over the years.
But those very early losses felt especially bad, and remain in my memory, since I had only lived under a Democratic Presidents up to Eisenhower.
And, being young, I had never experienced the pain of political losses until then.

You can call my response whatever you wish. Your perception is whatever you make of another's words. Perceptions are attitudinal - the attitude one brings colors one's perceptions.

I do not come to DU to argue - never have, never will.
I do come to discuss and to learn, and perhaps that's where my attitude is incorrect - when I attribute the will to discuss, learn and even support and sometimes console others who come here.

That's why I have not been involved in the back and forth of the primary forums, and all that they involved.
So I really don't even know the names and views and reputations on DU of those who have been so involved in the primaries.

Maturing does not imply immature.

People mature all their lives.
People grow in knowledge and wisdom all their lives.

My statement had nothing to do with individual candidates; I have stayed out of that discussion throughout the primaries.

People don't change much at 70 years.

He's had 70 years to practice the bluster.

Lifetime habits of living are very hard to break, even though daughter, wife, sons, advisors, handlers may prompt and otherwise work on him to "soften".
