I hope all goes well for you.

I recall telling my Dad, when I was about 21, that I didn't want to live beyond 59. I couldn't imagine myself as an older person, and aging certainly was not an attractive choice.

Life has a funny way of giving us different perspectives through the years.

May life give you all that you dream of.

Taking Social Security at 62 reduces your payment 20%/month for the rest

of your life.
Ex: If you would get $1000/mo at full SS age, you would get $800/mo from age 62 until death.
If you would get $2000/mo at full SS, you would get $1600/mo from age 62 until death.

Average life expectancy is now in late 70s for men and early 80s for women, which means at least half of those people live well beyond the average.

Believe me, speaking as a senior well past retirement age, you don't want to be 75, 80, or 85 with no physical (not to mention mental) ability to earn income and scrounging and worrying about basic expenses.

I don't know if you're referring to age 62 retirement or 66/67ish,

but you would be better off waiting as long as you can to collect SS, as your amount t collect for the rest of your life will increase each month that you wait up to age 70.

My opinion is that you are one of America's unsung heroes.
Congratulations on a productive and meaningful life.
May you enjoy a well-earned retirement, when it comes.

Lawrence O'Donnell said the papal nuncio arranged the meeting.

Apparently the Nuncio is known to be a conservative, and Lawrence O'Donnell said he will be leaving the post in a matter of months, and some U. S. clergy would like it to be sooner.

We do not know how this person - Kim Davis- was explained to Pope Francis, and how Francis understood the meeting. He was a guest in the Papal Nuncio's home and may have felt pressured to comply or at least be polite.

Kim Davis was in Washington at the Value Voters meeting to receive an award, and likely someone with motives one can presume felt it was a good opportunity to further her and their cause.

The question was "Who..... today".

I trust Joe Biden and believe he is not quite as "attackable" as the other Dem candidates, though I am conscious that there are areas where others can attack him.

We all know that attacks on HRC will be non-stop and vicious not only throughout her campaign, but throughout her Presidency, if she wins. It will be at least as bad as those against Pres. Obama and very difficult to accomplish the needs of the country.

While I have tremendous respect and admiration for Sen. Sanders and the way he is conducting his campaign and the ideas he has offered, the 'Socialist' tag will be hung around his neck by the Republicans and their superpacs, and the drumbeat of everything that goes with that tag will make it very difficult to overcome.

The other candidates - O'Malley, Chaffee, Webb- have not and will not catch on adequately with the Dem electorate.

And that is my opinion today - 9/29/15 .

I don't know the answer, but someone locally - police, library, lawyer - does

know the answer.
Likely depends on local or state laws.

I don't. I vote for whomever I want.

PS - I could have left it blank or not even voted, or I can delete, if you prefer.
