No Vested Interest
No Vested Interest's JournalA job well done! Bringing it home for Al Franken - and others! nt
I've been known to pick up a snack, consume it while shopping, and
present the empty wrapper to the cashier for charging.
They never seem surprised. - I guess they see everything in a day's work.
You are pure gold! When your candidate wins
he/she should invite you up on the podium and acknowledge that he/she couldn't have done it without you.
I salute you. Wish you could be cloned and sent all over the USA.
You're doing the work of angels.
LOL nt
How terrible! So very sorry this happened to people dear to you.
May all be well for your cousin/brother.
May your extended family deal with this tragedy in the best way for all concerned.

I had to laugh yesterday when I stopped at the mini-nurse station in Kroger
and asked obliquely about a flu shot.
The sweet young thing said "For people over 65 we recommend going to the pharmacy because they give a stronger dose there."

I guess even that phase is ending.
Necco wafers and other old-time candies (ex. Walnetto's) are available
from the Vermont Country store, along with a lot of items not found elsewhere.
I have bought trouser-stretchers for my slacks - eliminates ironing, as well as night-caps - the kind worn on the head if it tends to get cold overnight. Also Ship'n'Shore blouses, Lanz nightgowns, and many more.
I just love to browse through their catalogue.
