Francis wouldn't mind the Package too much, but that guy

below wouldn't bee too happy.
Nor Francis' dry cleaner, responsible for cleaning the white cassock.

I had never heard of Robertson until a few days ago

when all this hullabaloo erupted.
I've heard some speculation on TV this morning that the ruckus may have been started to bring attention to the TV show.
Who knows?
Who cares?

This is long overdue. nt

Write down one positive attribute on a post-it note, or several post-it notes.

Put the note(s) on your bathroom mirror and other places (in your room where you will see them regularly.

When you feel like it, change it/them out for another positive trait on post-it notes, in the same manner.

Good luck.

This is such a good idea you may be able to make a little money

buying cheap (10cents for two toys) and selling for a bit more -maybe $1.00,2.00, or 3.00 each.
You could go into business and sell online.
Perhaps in the DU marketplace. Sell in pkgs of 4, 5, or 6 to make the mailing worthwhile.
Half serious - if you don't do it, someone else will.
Only I don't know of anywhere else where a pair of jeans could be purchased for 10 cents.

Rest in peace, John Eisenhower. You were from a simpler time.

Hard to believe he was 91. His son, David Eisenhower, married Julie Nixon, IIRC, and that was a long time ago, too.

Your OP is a beautiful tribute to your Dad; he can be proud of you, his daughter.

Treasure him. We never know how long our loved ones will be with us.

When a grand-nephew's wife posted an unacceptable diatribe pro-death penalty

(I don't even remember who was the person involved) I placed her on permanent "hide" rather than unfriend her.

I felt unfriending would cause problems with those closer to her and to me and after not being in touch with that part of my family, I didn't want to cut off all contact.

She had replied to me that that was her opinion; I cited some religious sources and said I was not going to mention it again.
I can still go in to her page and see pics of the children, etc. when I wish. For all I know, she does not even know that I have hidden her comments.
She is a young married woman, not highly educated and with several children. She was apparently brought up in the RW atmosphere, judging from comments her own family members send her.
Every family has some with views that are contrary to our own. I can live with it. It's not important enough to me to have my say to cause trouble where no existed before.

I'm with you, Kaleva.

I know my own mind; it's always been my decisions, not others.
However, family, even those I disagree with politically, are precious and I choose to keep them.
