Apparently appetizers have become one of the big money-makers

for restaurants, along with beverages and desserts.
And, yes, sometimes an appetizer can be your entrée, especially when it is a protein, - ex. crab cakes.

Falls are a bummer, and to be avoided at all costs.

So sorry to know that you fell.

Falls are a real shock to the system, in addition to the bruises and possibility of greater damage.
Good lighting wherever and whenever we walk throughout our space is vital.

Heal quickly.

I agree with all those here who sing the praises of the CPAP.

When my primary doc recommended the test 11+ yrs ago, I was in denial, even though I frequently woke up suddenly, as though startled out of my sleep.

When the sleep doc recommended CPAP, based on sleep test showing my air cut off way too many times within an hour, I started using the CPAP - at that time a big machine.
I slept soundly and haven't been without it one night since.

Funny story - last winter I had just left shore on a cruise when I discovered the mask had been left behind in a hotel. I was upset, thinking I would have to go without it, and not sleep well, for a few days and then spend my day in San Juan tracking down a mask.

I called the reception desk on the ship. Bottom line, they had one - actually a choice of two types- as well as a complete CPAP machine and parts to sell me. I guess, knowing the demographics of cruisers, these problems come up now and again.

It's probably past time to let MSNBC know they've gone over the edge

on Trumpmania.

Believe it or not, there are some real issues out there to be discussed, problems to be solved.

I think he expressed a similar sentiment when GWB stood

on the deck of the aircraft carrier in a flight suit, with the "Mission Accomplished" sign behind him.

Well, Chris Matthews started up with Trump-talk tonight.

He couldn't get his words out fast enough- (he talks too fast routinely, but this was worse.)
He was talking over his guests and interrupting.
I had enough and came back to my den and started in with DU.

Am about to go back and try TV again - I think Shark Tank is coming on.

See you later.

I hope she found a measure of comfort being in that place that

had a special meaning for herself and her husband.

She was very wise to attend the widows' group in San Diego, giving her perspective and receiving from the other youngish widows.
It's good to know that one's very bad experience is not unique, the others similar have gone down and continue to go down that road.
Perhaps she will keep in contact with one or two.

May her legal problems be solved in a timely and just manner.

Have you tried kissing the frog?

Perhaps your prince is waiting.

If no prince appears, you could try putting pillows under the front door, after leaving a bowl of water directly outside the front door.

I do hope it's your prince, though. You can offer him a glass of water, too.
