I believe he's hosting a "summit" in Utah this weekend,

maybe even on his dollar.

You were wise to have the conversation

with your CPA.
I believe proselytizing has no place in business contacts, and, in general, I also believe politicking has no place in business.
I have, as I'm sure most on DU have, boycotted both local and national businesses where their outfront political beliefs and support were contrary to mine. If they keep it to themselves, I'll do business with them.

I arrived at the Vatican Museum

1/2 hour before closing and they would not admit spouse & me in that we wouldn't have enough time to make the visit worthwhile.
I've been to the Vatican, though, obviously, and the great museums in several countries - London, Paris, Madrid, Mexico City, Berlin, Florence, etc.

I understand your desire for archaeological artifacts to be collected and shown, although they are best left near where they originated, if possible, and if they can be adequately protected. Lots of the best has been stolen from sites by native and non-native peoples, so I guess some has to be kept on museums.

Art and artifacts are held in museums for the benefit of all peoples

Very often it is given with the proviso that it not be sold and that it be held in perpetuity or returned to the donor or the donor's heirs.

Much of the Vatican is a museum in itself, consisting of the work of the greatest masters.

Would the Chinese consider selling their treasures to bolster their treasury?
Should India sell the Taj Mahal to clean up its rivers and streams?
Should the USA sell the items of the Smithsonian to pay its debts to other nations?

Today there is talk of the treasures of the Detroit Art Institute being sold to settle the debts of the city of Detroit. Residents of that troubled city and of the surrounding area are sick and angry that some would be crass enough to consider selling off these treasures.

It might be better to consider your aunt as an

individual - a person who wishes or feels the need to control others, rather than one acting out of religious conviction.

I'm not a Methodist, but from those I've known I've not heard that type of screeching re religion, death, salvation, etc.

Hoping all you New Jerseyites will

speak out loud and clear (letters to editors, blogs, emails, tweets, talk radio, etc.)
to let the Governor and the public know just what you think of this decision.
Wednesday voting?
Sheeeesh.

Colleen Campbell Carroll will host the EWTN evening news,

according to the Washington Post.
She is a former speechwriter for G. W. Bush.
I do not find her as offensive as Arroyo, though she definitely leans to the right.
She's not so in-your-face.

Yes, I usually attend Mass weekly, except for

ice and snow underfoot, and if necessary when traveling.

Personalities of the presiders or other members of the faith don't affect my desire to be there.

I've made a firm, conscious decision that this will be my practice for the rest of my days, just as I one day long ago made the decision to remain faithful to my spouse.

Point #! - Does he tweet?

#2 - There's no reward for him to respond to your opinion.

He's actually a pundit, and only marginally a "newsman".

If the news show comes to pass, and Arroyo plays a large part in it - that's the time to speak up - in letters to the editor of large newspapers, blogs, etc.
