Has anyone seen a mention of how long the two men were waiting for their friend?

Was it 10, 15 , thirty minutes or more? Was it one hour or more?
Just wondering how long those men were being observed before the manager felt they were there too long.

Hope the friend who was apparently late had a good excuse and apologized to the two for his tardiness.

I'm not defending the manager in any way for her action in calling police.

Jimmy Carter has a new book coming out, entitled "Faith: A Journey for All".

There is speculation that it may be his last book.
It may be worth a look.

Porcelain gallbladder. Indicates a calcified gallbladder; middle-aged overweight women are more

prone to the condition.
In preparation for surgery, a cat scan of my pelvis and abdomen was ordered.
The physician who read the scans reported the above condition.
I have not had symptoms of gallbladder problems, though I do have some "heartburn", for which I take Tums and, very rarely, an Alka-Seltzer.
My primary physician has referred me to a surgeon.
Having just had abdominal surgery 6 weeks ago, and being a full-fledged senior, I am not up for another surgery for a while.
Thoughts and suggestions?

Edited to add: Should this post have been placed in another sub-topic of Health?

I join you at 11p.m. watching Cash Cab, taped in 2010 at the latest, I believe.

The schtick in Las Vegas was brief.
Sorry, Brian Williams; I only catch you when Cash Cab is on commercials.

The dispatchers did not ask for his name, which is usually done. Kyle did not volunteer his name.

Just knowing his name would have helped in finding him sooner.
One of the saddest stories I've heard lately.
Peace to Kyle's family and friends.

The nominee has an unfortunate surname - Pompeo.

I don't know the literal meaning of "pompeo", but it seems to remind me of "pompous", which he appears to be.

I like and respect Steny Hoyer; he unfailingly stands up for Democratic principles.

I also like and respect Nancy Pelosi, especially for the great leadership she has given her party over many years.

I also long for strong leadership to emerge from a younger generation (though I personally am older than to two leaders mentioned above.)

I don't yet know who the younger strong leaders will be.
Personally I like Tim Ryan of Ohio, though I hear occasional dissent re T. Ryan's possibility of replacing N. Pelosi.
I know there must be others very capable of leading the next generations of US Democrats.

Would this be useful for someone who is aphasic from a stroke?

Family member is still struggling to express herself fully, two years after a stroke.
She understands all incoming messaging.

Is that local TV station owned by Sinclair, by any chance?

That "report" sounds very much like the type of "report" Sinclair orders their stations to read.
