Perhaps the announcement plays into Kasich's and Cruz's need

to raise cash quickly.

Well, I'm glad to know it's not just me that saw that smokestack in

that form.
It would be nice to get back down that way again.
Summers can be very humid in NC, but then, we're all getting a taste of summer's heat in this day and age.

He is so undisciplined in his statements, and he wil be unable and unwilling to

control his mouth, especially as he ages and feels he has succeeded by virtue of his over-the-top behavior.

Mira, those are beautiful photos of Winston-Salem, and, yes, North Carolina has much beauty

throughout, from the mountains in West North Carolina, the mid-section and beyond.

For about 10-15 years, in the late 90's to ca 2012, I spent several weeks in the Durham area each year, always enjoying the amenities offered there.

I hope you do not take offence, but each time we drove through Winston-Salem the most prominent landmark was/is a tall, round tower, perhaps left from the tobacco days, which appeared to me as a Phallic symbol.
Have others remarked in a similar vein re that tower - or is it a smokestack?

though they did ask for a "freewill offering" at the end of the meeting.
I never felt pressure for money, though that aspect could possibly vary by time and place.

Perhaps Guatemala's military is a"make-work" effort,

keeping the young'uns occupied so that they don't revolt or some such craziness.
Not a bad idea, really.

I had no idea Guatemala had 3000 troops.

I prefer Costa Rica's military stance: no army.
