I thought it likely that Disney wouldn't have life guards

but, since they specialize in children's events, I speculated that if any cruise line had them, it would be Disney.
Thanks for clarifying.

I have never seen lifeguards on any cruise ship, and

I have been on many cruises on many cruise ship lines.
I have never been on Disney - so can't speak for that line.

This is very sad.
Hope the parents were not at the bar, or worse, getting a "quickie", thinking the children were well occupied.

Yes, middle name. First name was also my mother's name.

So they called me the middle name, which was my father's favorite aunt's name.
I've now dropped the first name and use my maiden name as my middle name.

My maiden name is now frequently used as a first name by many.

Jimmy Carter - in Plains, GA

In the 1990's spouse & I attended his Sunday school class when we were in Americus GA for a week-long course.
He and Roslynn most graciously posed for photos with all who wanted one after the service.

I've also gone to one or two of his book-signings, though they move right along - pleasant but quick.

Yes, married with two kids!

I can not buy Halloween candy more than a day before

because I'd likely open the bag and eat a few before the first doorbell ring on Oct. 31
I have in the past given coins or gum when I was serious about not eating what was left - if any- but not in recent years.

It's far easier to lead an open life, than to be consistently

covering up, back-tracking, looking sideways and backwards about what you have wrought.
Covering up, although often understandable, is dishonest in a way.

Not that we need to blast out our problems to every soul that comes along - most aren't that interested or don't have the time or energy to take on another's concerns when they're just struggling to get along everyday themselves.

Too much self-revelation can be, or at least can be seen as, narcissistic.
Having inner peace, knowing that you're doing the best you can with what life has brought to you, is one of life's greatest gifts.

Thanks for not only backing up my choices, but also posting

the recordings.
Yes, Sandpipers are good. So many choices on Guantanamera!

October 13, 2013

I have to add one more-

Guantanamera-

Joan Baez, Pete Seegar, Jose Feliciano - take your choice - all great!
