"What if Trump refused to lose?"

All 2020 election results must be monitored and verified. Unless Vlad and rumpie are "under the weather", expect massive interference. imo

Take the Red Pill?

Elon Musk and Ivanka Trump share a moment on Twitter — then the creator of ‘The Matrix’ claps back

Take the red pill

..snip
That’s Tesla TSLA, +1.41% boss Elon Musk delivering a cryptic message on Sunday to his 34.3 million Twitter TWTR, +3.00% followers — the latest in a long line of his social-media headscratchers.
After Musk recently named his child ‘X Æ A-12,” nothing should come as a surprise anymore. But, really, what is he talking about this time?

For the uninitiated, the “red pill” could be a reference to the science-fiction classic “The Matrix.”
Without going too far down the nerdy rabbit hole, the film’s protagonist, played by Keanu Reeves, is given a choice: He can take the blue pill and return to his regular life, or he can choose the red pill and learn the whole truth about living in a computer simulation.
Basically, blissful ignorance or hard truths.

The first rule of "fight club",

"you do not talk about fight club". Hello, Mr. Soros, I always break the rules, mea culpea.

These lyrics captured my attention tonight. The mood of the nation, and the world, seems to be heading toward despair for some and violence by those who follow that mad man in our White House.

Let's caste aside that doom and gloom. Deny rumpie and mcturtle their play for power. Send them both to the dustbins of infamy.

Melinda Gates grades the Trump administration's coronavirus response

Melinda Gates grades the Trump administration’s coronavirus response — and it’s a pretty low score

Published: May 8, 2020 at 11:14 a.m. ET

By Nicole Lyn Pesce

‘We need leadership at the national level,’ she says

Well … it’s technically a passing grade, right?

Melinda Gates, co-chairman of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, gave the Trump administration a D-minus for its handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

“We need leadership at the national level,” Gates told Politico. She pinned her low marks on the country’s lack of a coordinated response for two months now.

“We have governors who are stepping up, luckily, but now we have 50 different homegrown state solutions instead of a national response.”

Gates, 55, cited Germany as an “exemplar” country that has testing and contact tracing down to a science. Germany’s COVID-19 case count as of Friday morning was 169,430, with 7,392 deaths. America’s case count was 1.26 million, the highest in the world for weeks now, with 75,670 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University data.

If the U.S. followed Germany’s example, she said, “We would be testing, first, health care workers and then the most vulnerable, and you’d be doing contact tracing. And we would be able to start thinking about slowly, slowly reopening places in society in safe and healthy ways, but we have a lack of a coordinated effort.”

Thank you for your service, Jared Kushner

Thank you for your service, Jared Kushner

Opinion by Peter Bergen, CNN National Security Analyst
5/2/20

What is most galling as the nation faces its worse crisis since World War II is how the Trump family keeps demanding recognition for their brilliant work and also our thanks for the catastrophic mess they have helped land us all in.

Case in point is Jared Kushner, who has fallen upwards throughout his life, inheriting a vast real estate empire and then making one of the worst purchases in the history of Manhattan, which was buying the office building at 666 Fifth Avenue for a then-record $1.8 billion in 2007, a lemon which was only finally taken off his hands after his father-in-law became president.
…snip
This is the kind of thing we expect in a banana republic: the nepotistic incompetence and the demands from the public to lavish praise on the brilliant ruling family.

It would be laughable if there weren't so many lives lost already and so many more in our future.
So, Jared Kushner, we, the American public, want to thank you for your service.
