For my 10,000th post

I want to thank the folks that run this website and do such a great job. And of course a big thanks and Merry Christmas to everyone here. You have helped me keep my sanity for the last four years along with entertaining me.

I participate in a lot of web forums and this is by far the most well run with the best and most intelligent people. Thanks for being an important part of my life.

They're putting in Solar power at my senior mobile home park.

This is great news, because you really can't install solar power on an older mobile home. What they are going to do is install panels on an open field in the park then generate power directly into the grid. Then the power company will use the power credits to reduce everyone's bill.

The owners have done this at several of their parks, and the average savings per home is about 35% of their bill. Our home is all electric and $250-300 bills are not uncommon, especially in the summer. The way it works is first they have to get 51% of the people to agree to it, which they have, then we all signed an agreement to let them check our power usage history so they know how much infrastructure they need to install. Then they will add an infrastructure charge of about $30 to our rent statement every month to install and maintain the system.

In the event someone uses very little power and the infrastructure charge is more than they saved on their bill, their rent will be adjusted downward. I don't know how soon this will all be up and running, but I'm looking forward to it.

How will you celebrate Inauguration Day?

I live in a Senior mobile home park, and am fortunate to have very good neighbors. I don't discuss politics much with them, but I think there may be a few Trump voters on my street of 14 mobile homes.

On January 20th, I will go out early in the morning and put out my flag for the first time in four years. It will be upside down. I figure people may think I'm doing this because I don't like Biden being sworn in. But as soon as he takes the oath, I will turn the flag right side up.

We have two chairs out in front where my wife and I usually have our coffee and talk with any neighbors passing by. We will be sitting there drinking a bottle of champaign after I flip the flag, and I will leave the empty bottle sitting there for a few days, I think.

What do you want to bet

that when all else fails, Trump will try to bribe the electors. And he will do it right out in the open, on camera. And nothing will happen to him for doing so, and he knows it. This is why he will do it.

And of course, it won't work.

I have changed my mind about a belief I have had for years.

I used to think that no judge should be appointed for a life long term.

Recent court decisions regarding the election have shown me that if a judge is appointed for life, there is no incentive for them to do any favors for the politician who appointed them.

If any of your friends, or even yourself

I was going to wait until the innauguration

to ditch my upside down flag avatar, because face it, we are still a country in distress as long as Trump still has the nuclear codes.

But I saw the new Biden Harris stock avatars and decided to go for it.

If anyone was ever worried about Trump suing them,

I'm thinking they are far less worried now. What a brilliant legal team he assembled, right?

Okay, Californians!

Which state should we move to next to turn them blue and raise their property values?

no musician will send the Biden campaign a cease and desist letter for playing their music?
