It wasn't

something that made my heart happy, but reality is, if this POTUS had tried to send these RW clowns, all of them, from the last administration, to the Hague, Obama would have been impeached by Democrats and Rethugs and sent to the Hague himself. Political expediency is what he employed. He may just hate GWB's guts, but in reality he can't even hint at it in public. A black man putting down a white man, POTUS to POTUS? Give me a fucking break. AmeriKKKa would have run Obama out of D.C. on a rail. Get fucking real! I wouldn't waste time on the shrub either.

doesn't surprise me

typical day in amerikkkan high political office from 1970 nixon all the way through 2008 when we finally were rid of bushmoney, condiliar and rumbucket. And now we're at a point where the poor and blacks are waiting for their voting rights to be restored in numerous states and localities. All brought to us by Reagan clones and the virulently racist RW and Teahadists. Gimme break! Land of the free, home of the brave? BULLSHIT! And yes as soon as I'm thrown out of my 60,000 dollar property that the bank wants 600,000 for, I'm outta here. My bad. Had a lawyer that I shouldn't have trusted. The way I see it

is that if this dictator can turn over the weapons we are concerned with and it can be verified then that takes care of our alleged concern. This is a civil war. Not our concern if it is not threatening any other country. So many on here want to see us killing and maiming along with this dictators and rebels killing and maiming. Lots of mindsets like Lieberman on this situation. Kill and maim to stop the killing and maiming. We are dealing with politicians, they do not have any priority but nationalism and capitalism at the heart of any argument plus I add, because of the bush cabal, imperialism. No matter Democrat or Republican these three aims are at the root of any decision made by any of our national leaders. Something is amiss here and it's not a civil war in syria.

I am beginning

to think that we humans must have in our DNA a hidden message. You shall war upon each other and kill as many as you can and find the flimsiest of pretexts to do this. We have since our origins always been at war with each other. Since the rock our implements of war have become more sophisticated, yet with the same outcome, death multiplied by more and more thousands and hundreds of thousands. Good guy here, bad guy there, wmd's over there, chemical weapons being used in an indiscriminate manner there. Terrorist camps here, training people that are a threat to national security. Gotta kill that bin laden even though we trained him and armed him. This shit is insane. Gotta stop Saddam. Gotta stop Asswad. We are a violent race, the human race. We hate and kill each other because of religion, race, lately for natural resources like lithium and oil and it show no sign that we're evolving into a better being. Will it ever stop?

something stinks

in this latest run up to war. Let me be clear, I don't want us in Syria in any capacity. If these "lies" were coming out of the mouths of PNAC neocons, would our vaunted media be so against this proposed attack? I seem to remember all MSM of note , NYT< MSNBC< FAUX< CNN and even NPR by god jumping on BUSHCO's bandwagon to KILL Saddam. Now because we're so tired of war, this POTUS and SOS, according to MSM and national level legislators are war mongering. The Iraq lies were just as debunked beforehand yet conservatives got free reign to totally destroy a country and kill between 100,000 and one million Iraqis depending on whose numbers one follows... I'm just trying to put it all in perspective. Truly, I am disappointed in my "hope and change" POTUS, yet the obviousness of the schizophrenic nature of this whole last decade has me confused, I guess.

who are you kidding?

Yeah we can always fight and I've been fighting for my rights as a human being since the 60's. In this the 21st century, my rights as a human being don't mean SHIT! A majority of our political leaders, state and national, the MIC and on down to the local militarized 'protect and serve' force care nothing about our rights or desires as citizens of this exposed hypocrisy called the american democracy. By "get harder" do you mean more people beaten down while standing in a peaceful circle singing? For sure. By "get harder" do you mean the numbers of dissatisfied citizens marching in the streets and probably getting shot down in those streets? For sure. Human life and dignity of the 99% mean nothing to the 1%er PTB. That is If sufficient numbers can tear themselves away from honey booboo to march in the streets for a voice. I admire your spirit, yet I want you in the streets marching with us 99%ers, not predicting that it will "get harder". It's hard already. It already sucks and by sucks do you mean dead americans in the streets shot down by other americans for voicing dissent. Are you going to stand in those streets with me/us? Are you willing to die so that "we'll win" after we have "recognized our power and used it wisely"?

for showing where the blame for the start of these tragedies of Iraq and Afghanistan began. Now we're just waiting for the next attack by our country's military, at the behest of a POTUS I voted for, on a sovereign nation fighting a CIVIL WAR. I feel we're digging a hole for ourselves that we can NEVER crawl out of. How can we stop this travesty if our 'leaders' don't care what we think about or want in foreign policy? Blame bush? Yes! If this next military adventure gets off the ground. Blame this administration for the consequences? Unequivocally yes!

no. Truthful, with great probability? yes. Your kind of truth does not want to be seen or heard by the head in sand crowd. They feel we have a moral obligation to invade countries for oil, lithium or any other natural resource needed by our MIC/government. I feel

the United states is the cause of a lot of the continuing strife in that country. Paul Bremer as director of the office of reconstruction and humanitarian assistance???with his 'marshall plan' fantasies. His post war administration left this country in sad shape. Don't get me wrong the bush, cheney, rice cabal created this ongoing chaos that has not abated one iota since 2003-4. Men, women and children are still dying violently because of the religious and political differences brought to the fore and ongoing because of the vacuum left when the saddam government fell. We did that country's people no favor with bush jr trying to be a 'war' president in search of oil. Is this a stretch here?
