yet it set the stage for our current POTUS and our next POTUS. Don't be too hard on yourself. No matter what we would have done in Forida, Bush and Cheney would have remained in their position and our casualties and innocent Iraqi, Afghan casualties would have remained the same. 'Black sites', waterboarding, Homeland Security, Patriot Act and almost destroying the american economy by driving us into another great Depression would have happened. All we would have done is mess our lives up.
I have let go of a huge amount of stress by letting bygone days not cause me current anger. Nothing gained but personal bodily harm. We are in a position to take back our Legislative Branch and 8 more, at least, years of sane, steady leadership at the top. I am going to honor our dead, my brothers and sisters in arms, by voting for people who will approach the world and its diversity in a sane and wise manner. Up side, we will be going from one class act to another. Win, win.

what these RWers forget is that while many of us were livid and angry enough to contemplate 'revolution', I think our decency and maturity as thinking people, along with Gore 'moving on' from Katherine Harris and her debacle kept the levels of vitriol (I was one, bigtime) from overflowing the sewers. This guy is playing with fire that will truly burn a lot of his followers IF they act stupid. Where will trumpenfuhrer be? Sitting on his 'golden' toilet playing his violin. Far from the maddened crowd of his followers.

I see 'gentrification' has made its mark there also. I wonder how many original Roxbury original locals were displaced with rotten deals. I must say gentrification is one insidious side effect of white privilege and their money.
while gasoline has stayed reasonable
it seems to me there has been a rise, steady, in the cost of other staples, like food. And god forbid you might want non-GMO and antibiotic free milk, meat and eggs. For the elite only. Because they can afford it.
I lived in Boston
in the 70's and the same things were being discussed by people in Roxbury and Dorchester. I lived in Dorchester while attending Boston U. Not as open and obvious as 'Southie" but more covert, but obvious to the "melanin enriched".

"Voodoo economics" is sopmething I will never stop overlooking in my judgement of economic racism touted by these scarborough idiots and clones. PAIN!!!! Oh....forget it, almost started a cursing rant. Never mind.
too many
concerned citizens with cameraphones today. Many legal groups are ready to be able to get around 2013 racist SC ruling while at polls watching also. I just can't believe we will be impotent on election day. Citizens concerned about our electoral process can watch also.
