Teddy Roosevelt Park
Spent a week in ND. Beautiful place even if it is a bit Republican 
A highlight is always to visit TR Park. If ever out there it is well worth the stop. Unbelievable scenery, animals galore, great hiking trails...
We weren't able to hike as much. The main buffalo herd was mostly cows and calves. The bulls were scattered all over the place; usually 50 yards in on a trail. That pretty much makes it his trail. Still it is always wonderful to see how these beautiful animals have returned to their range.

Madrid (CNN) -- Chalk one up for the first two bulls at Spain's top annual bullfighting festival.
Between them, they gored or bashed three bullfighters, putting them out of action, and forcing authorities to suspend a bullfight at the San Isidro Festival in Madrid for the first time in 35 years, said a spokesman for Las Ventas bullring, who by custom is not identified.
In front of a sold-out crowd of 24,000 at the historic bullring on Tuesday -- and a national television audience -- the first bull, weighing just over half a ton (532 kilograms) gored the first bullfighter, David Mora, in the left leg. He had to leave to get medical treatment.
But the tradition says the bull must die, so in stepped the second bullfighter, Antonio Nazare, who finished him off.
Next, it was time for the second bull, weighing slightly more than the first at 537 kilograms. He would prove even more dangerous.

First-Do reporters take writing classes anymore? My 10 yr. old could have written this story better.
Second-Funny, despite all of the claims we have heard, the two carriers did not shoot each other and everyone in a mile radius. The police were able to identify the good guys and not shoot them upon arriving at the scene.
Third-how did a mall shooting avoid being breaking news on every network?

A man is killed after he confronts his estranged wife and two other men at Central Mall, according to Fort Smith Police.
Fadi “Frankie” Qandil, 34, died of injuries sustained from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso in a parking lot between the Malco Theaters and JCPenny Saturday night (May 10), according to Sgt. Daniel Grubbs.
Bethany Nelson was working the night of the shooting.
“A few minutes later we saw the fire trucks and all the cops and then people started standing on top of vehicles in a circle,” Nelson said.

Rather than pay to scrap the old ships, why can't the Navy have people bid for the rights to the scrapping?

(CNN) -- For the second time in two years, the U.S. Navy is parting with one of its aircraft carriers for a penny.
The Navy announced Thursday it's paying ESCO Marine of Brownsville, Texas, one cent to take the former USS Saratoga off its hands for dismantling and recycling.

The warship was decommissioned in 1994. It is now at Naval Station Newport in Rhode Island and is expected to be towed to Texas in the summer, the Navy said.
