woot, anyone else have problems with ordering stuff? like they saved your credit card number.

I have bought things before, not often as I used to, they always sent me to a page to get my order in and I would say don't save my credit card. Well, I haven't ordered anything for a year and I saw the cutest baby thing for a shower I am going to,
I go to the cart to buy it and wallah - the order is in and I have not filled out the shipping information or the credit card number and I am trying to figure out what happened, i finally looked in my e-mail (I don't get automatic email notifications because I keep e-mail on the web I have a bunch of then,. it says I can cancekl in 15 minutes after I order - well I have been looking around and 15 minutes was long gone. when I look at the details inthe e-mail I see they shipped itto a friend in Florida where I shipped something last year - that is my default shipping location now!
OK I bought something with the wrong credit card going half way around the country so I won't have it for the shower and all because Woot decided to save my information and saved it in a way that is not anything I would choose?

I am ranting, I know I am ranting, I am so furious they saved this information and applied it without asking me. I am sure there was not page where I could see what was there and now, it won't let me change any information in my account unless I save a credit card number there. Now I either have to cancel that card to get it out of their system and to delete my account. I don't want them to have the information I dont' recall anywhere where it said you had to leave such information with them. I think my woot days are over.

so what happens if the trump is not the republican nominee

I just find it hard to believe he would do the work to run, and I don't think he would enjoy the short leash he would be on. There is a lot of time to the convention - I am trying to think how it will happen but I really believe it would.
so if he is not the nominee - how does that affect the democratic convention? .

do they vary according to the source?
I post on other boards and they generally keeps us to 3 or 4 paragraphs yet I keep seeing people quote entire articles here, isn't copyright an issue here?

As octopus prices spiral due to worldwide overfishing, an importer is mislabeling its jumbo squid as octopus to trick consumers, a diner claims in a federal class action.
Luis Diego Zapata Fonseca sued Vigo Importing Co. on Tuesday, "on behalf of purchasers of Vigo octopus products that Vigo had labeled and sold as octopus when in reality the products contained jumbo squid, which is significantly cheaper and of a lower quality than octopus."
The nine-count lawsuit, alleging fraud, false advertising, unfair competition and other charges, contains a wealth of information about the octopus, which, like the squid, is a cephalopod.

I remember trying to tell the manager of a small company I worked for when they got fis instead of scallops with a big price differential. But they didn't care so much, did not come from their pockets, So I put it in a yelp comment, heh.

my department was replaced by H1B visa personnel when I was 58

Hillary Clinton is on record for supporting increasing the number of H1B visas. I never worked again.
I was offered a new position which I did turn down, I was offered a job in India for 1/3 less pay and a lot less benefits to manage the Indian workers that they would have when they moved the IT department over there after they laid off all departments. Did I mention I was 58 with a mother that was ill and depended on me?

why is she heading the DNC or sor we call it the RNC part II? Why is she there at all, if we won a few election I would see it, but everything has gone to pot under her lack of leadership.

Gov. Chris Christie's now-suspended presidential campaign has sold its email list of supporters and donors to his former chief Republican rival Marco Rubio, the governor's campaign spokesman confirmed Monday.

That means those who supported the governor are now getting messages from Rubio, who was Christie's prime target during the New Hampshire primary. The first e-mail message went out Sunday afternoon.

Samantha Smith, a spokeswoman for Christie's campaign, told NJ Advance Media the decision to sell the e-mail list to Rubio was "no endorsement" and that "it is standard practice for other campaigns to buy lists ... Anyone can rent/buy the list via the vendor."
