Americans' pride in US hits low: Gallup

Pride in the U.S. has hit its lowest point since Gallup started asking about it in 2001, according to a poll released Tuesday, with less half of adults surveyed now saying they’re “extremely” proud to be Americans.

Seventy percent of U.S. adults said in the new poll that they were proud of be Americans, but 2019 marks the second consecutive year that fewer than half — 45 percent — identified as “extremely proud.”

The highest readings — roughly 70 percent — came in 2003 after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, when the American public expressed high levels of patriotism, Gallup noted.

Extreme pride amongst Democrats dipped to its lowest measure in the new survey.

Only 22 percent of Democrats responded with extreme pride, half of what it was before President Trump’s 2016 election.

So the Baby Trump blimp might not really fly July 4th.

Trump Baby Blimp Will Appear At Trump’s July 4 Military Display. Kind Of.

The government won’t allow the legendary balloon to be filled with helium and banned it from the Lincoln Memorial, where Trump will speak.

President Donald Trump is getting an unwelcome visitor during his big boy July 4 military display in Washington, but he may not know it’s there.

Trump’s attempt to make the nation’s Independence Day an ode to himself will include military tanks, fighter jets, troops and Republican supporters in the nation’s capital, and a speech by the president from the Lincoln Memorial.

A guest is also scheduled to make an appearance: the infamous Trump baby blimp used around the world to mock the president. The National Park Service on Monday signed off on a permit by activist group Codepink to feature the balloon, but it included some caveats that might deflate the impact.

A conservative site has found my YouTube channel. Alright!

Why am I happy? My views and share numbers go up! Muhaha! And that is part of what YouTube looks when it come to paying YouTubers. I gotta crank this baby up!

With everything going bad with my health, I have found something, besides Trooper, to get me going emotionally. It makes me think back to college when I was PR secretary for the College Democrats.

We called ourselves that instead of the Young Democrats because of the mix of ages we had. We were in a major red area and we were not going to be quite. Good times....

Looking at the info has really cheered me up. Got me thinking of something besides of my health. Been down about it a lot. But this bit of news has help bring me a little out of my funk.

Been thinking about merchandise my vlog...

But I'm not sure what website I should go to for this. Seen many but not sure which one is the most reliable. Any suggestions?

The kind of merchandise I want to sell is pro Democrat.

I will not be boycotting the 4th of July and here's why.

I will not allow that orange"want to be" dictator take my celebration away from me.
Me and Trooper will be listening to patriotic music, read the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution and The Bill of Rights.

Trooper, being the loveable freak that he is, like fireworks. Hates cameras, but likes watching fireworks. Go figure? Will join me on our little patio to watch all of them that will be going off around us that night.

It won't be much, but I will not let a$$hat take my celebration. He won't be in office forever.

Indicting a pregnant woman for manslaughter when someone else shoots her fetus is next-level Handmaid's Tale B.S.

Just to reiterate, an unarmed, 5-month pregnant woman was shot in the stomach after getting into a fight, lost her baby, and she's the one was indicted for manslaughter.

That is seriously messed up, Alabama.

But what's even more messed up are the number of people I've seen defending this ruling. "She shouldn't have started a fight," people say. "When you're pregnant, the safety of your baby should be your first priority." "She was being irresponsible and putting her baby at risk."

Here's the problem with those arguments:

There are a million things that can go wrong in a pregnancy without a pregnant person ever doing a darn thing. And there are accidents that can affect a pregnancy without there being any malicious or negligent intent whatsoever. When we start to hold pregnant women legally responsible for the viability of their pregnancies, we start down a terrifying path.
