Clinton holds steady among New York voters in latest poll

Business mogul Donald Trump is known for amassing wealth. Now, he’s amassing more of an increasingly hot commodity: Republican votes in New York.

A Siena College poll released Monday morning shows Trump surging in the primary matchup six weeks ahead of the day when New Yorkers will cast their primary ballots. The Manhattanite is pulling in 45 percent of the vote among GOPers. The next closest candidates are Marco Rubio and John Kasich, whose own surge has propelled him to 18 percent of the vote from 4 percent last month.

On the Democratic side, the numbers for Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders didn’t budge from February. Clinton leads 55-34 among Democrats.

That Trump jumped another 11 points in the Republican primary matchup — in which only four candidates remain — isn’t a shock given his sustained success nationally. The Siena poll was conducted in the midst of Super Tuesday last week, during which Trump won seven of 11 states in play. On Super Saturday last weekend, Trump won two of four states in play.

ETA: For those that are curious, the Siena College poll ranks an A- on the 538 pollster rankings.

Ex-Cowboys RB Joseph Randle arrested again in Kansas

Former Cowboys running back Joseph Randle finds himself back in jail following another arrest.

Randle, 24, was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail in Kansas for failure to appear in court at 1:44 a.m. Sunday, according to jail booking records. Bond has been set at $150,000, although it’s unclear which previous charge this is related to.

This marks the sixth arrest for Randle in the past 17 months. He posted bail last week after being charged with three counts of aggravated battery, one count of drug possession (marijuana) and one count of criminal damage to property on Feb. 21.

In that incident, Randle allegedly hit three people with his car before forcing his way into a home.

LDS Church offers new garment options for women

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced new options Tuesday for women’s garments in an article on LDS.org.

Women can choose between two waist options for knee-length garment bottoms. A natural-waist garment hits at a woman’s natural waist, and the lower-waist garment hits right above the high hip.

The LDS Church also announced square-neck garment tops. The garment tops have been lengthened to fit with the new lower-waist garment bottoms.

In addition to choosing from new options, endowed members can try on garments in the store. Store associates can show the garment options to purchasers who are not yet endowed.
