About Me

Nixon was a fucking crook. As a teenager I marched on the UN in 1982 with a million other people demanding we get rid of the threat of nuclear weapons hanging over our heads. Since then I've worked to get Democrats elected like John Aristotle Phillips, known as the A-Bomb Kid when he ran for Congress against Stuart McKinney in CT in the 80's (we lost twice) through the Obama campaign in 2008 and 2012. I want to legalize cannabis, reform our prison for profit system, cut our military budget, get out of Afghanistan and push solar energy panels into every building in the USA.

I don't like the fact we are playing the GOP's game with the SCOTUS nom.

The President gets to pick a nominee. The Senate confirms.

Yeah Trump gets to pick RBG's replacement, because Hillary lost.

We should not be playing the game Moscow Mitch started with his lies when he stole the Garland seat.

Now we look like hypocrites too.

The Constitution is clear.

We were in the right on Garland and should not change our positions on the fucking law just because the GOP did.

The focus of our talking points in this fight should be that the Republicans will lie, cheat, and steal to win at all costs to protect the rich, their tax cuts, and special laws that let them get away with things regular folks can't.

You don't let the GOP break the law and then a couple years later say yeah that's the right thing to do.

This is why many people see no difference between the two parties.

We either need to fight as dirty as the GOP or we need to do what's right.

I don't think our party collectively has the horrible ethics required to fight like them so we need to "go high" like Michelle Obama says.

"Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing."

“Winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing.”
Republicans believe this old Pro football saying applies to everything in the world.
That’s why they do what they do.
They will lie, cheat, steal, and do whatever it takes to win and hold power.
They don’t let hypocrisy, morality, norms, rules, or basic human decency, get in the way of their agenda.
How do you defeat an enemy like that?

First day RNC highlight....

First day RNC highlight seems to be: the 1st amendment protects your right to be racist Nazis

Speaker Pelosi needs to unleash the Kraken of the Oversight Committee on this USPS sabotage. NOW!

They need to haul everyone's ass up to the Hill to testify in open committee on TV in front of everyone.
I know we are close to an election but it needs to be done.

This corruption can't be allowed to continue and Democrats need to FIGHT like a fucking cornered wolverine over this issue for the citizens of this nation.

That's how we win in Nov., By standing for something and getting to bottom of this corruption.

Lastly, let me say this, if it was us doing it the GOP wouldn't even bat an eyelash before 87 committees were investigating and holding meeting live on TV.

The Trump Coward Corps

Camarillo CA:
Driving back from the vet on Wednesday after picking up my sweet husky Ginger, who had surgery Tuesday to remove a cyst on her liver, and this white pickup was behind me.
I stop at a light in the left lane and he pulls up in the right.
He doesn't turn right on red immediately, he lingers.
I glanced at his truck, lost in my own thoughts about my dog's condition.I look back at the light and his truck starts to turn right.
He shouts out of his open window after he is at least at a 45 degree angle and 25 feet away now.
I asked my wife what he said and she goes "He said 'Trump 2020,' he must have seen your Democratic bumper stickers."
Me "Typical Trump coward, shouting tough shit from half a block as he runs away."
I continue my drive home.
That's who they are though, cowards who run away and think they are tough.

Ginger is doing well.
That's all that mattered this week.
We'll rock his world in Nov.

G, the day after he gets busted on the Russian bounties question he proposes moving the election

G, the day after he gets busted on the Russian bounties question he proposes moving the election

He’s a master deflector. Don’t fall for it.

Who you want for VP doesn't matter. Who Joe Biden picks for VP doesn't matter.

We need to register EVERYONE and get out the vote.
No fucking whining or threats of holdouts.
Got it?

Attention Media: The question isn't "How tough is the cognitive test Trump took?"

The question is "Why was he at Walter Reed and why did doctors think he needed the test?"

You're welcome.

‘Everyone is lying’: Trump undercuts public health officials in fresh attacks

President Donald Trump on Monday launched new attacks on his own administration’s public health officials, while the White House denied that it had perpetrated a smear campaign against Dr. Anthony Fauci, one of the most venerated voices combating the coronavirus.

As his standing in public polling sags amid record numbers of daily Covid-19 infections in the United States, Trump has continued to express public dissatisfaction with Fauci for his dire assessments of the outbreak, including on social media.

On Monday morning, he retweeted messages from the politically conservative former game show personality Chuck Woolery — who served stints hosting “Wheel of Fortune” and “Love Connection” — which lamented the “most outrageous lies” being spread about the coronavirus pandemic.

“Everyone is lying. The CDC, Media, Democrats, our Doctors, not all but most, that we are told to trust. I think it’s all about the election and keeping the economy from coming back, which is about the election. I’m sick of it,” Woolery wrote in a tweet shared by the president.

In another post Trump retweeted, Woolery claimed there exists “so much evidence, yes scientific evidence, that schools should open this fall. It’s worldwide and it’s overwhelming. BUT NO.”

Trump also retweeted a message from Mark Young, Woolery’s co-host on his “Blunt Force Truth” podcast, which asked: “So based on Dr. Fauci and the Democrats, I will need an ID card to go shopping but not to vote?”

At an afternoon news briefing, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany insisted the president and the country’s top infectious disease expert “have always had a good working relationship,” even after it seemingly plummeted to a new nadir over the weekend.

The most recent public schism between Trump and Fauci, exacerbated by the former’s determination to reopen the national economy and the latter’s dread over the nature of the outbreak, came after an apparent attempt to discredit the doctor Saturday and Sunday.
