Trump's impeachment
Today I'm weighing the pros and cons of a Dem house filing an impeachment bill. I'm pretty certain that some congress critters will want to do so right away. While others will want to hold hearings. Others wait for Mueller's report. Others do nothing since the Senate probably won't have trhe votes to convict, so get on with passing Dem legislatiion.
I'm in favor of House hearings and waiting ffor the Mueller report before deciding about impeachment. Your thoughts please?

but aren't the Koch brothers Jews? How is it that Republicans get all excited about Soros, but never a peep about the Koch brothers. Not that the Koch brothers should be demonized if they're Jewish. No one should be. It's wrong. But it just points out the complete hypocracy of the GOP. They whine about Soros buying elections, but they sure love Koch money coming into their coffers. They whine about Soros being a globalist, but aren't the Koch Bros also globalists?

Don't let them own the conversation. The caravan is a bogus bullshit no-threat. Change the conversation back to what we want to talk about. Talk about what they don't want to talk about -- healthcare, racism, Trump's hate-mongering, raising the minimum wage, gerry-mandering and voter-suppression, equal pay for women, banning assault weapons. Make the conversation about what's important to us, not them.
Let's take charge of the conversation -- and change it!
My FB and DU pages are full of post after post after post of Trump sucks, Trump is a dick, the latest Trump outrage, the latest RWNJ conspiracy theory, the latest RWNJ stupidity and lie, etc etc etc. And all the left ever seems to do is to react to the ugliness. And I have played along in this kabuki theater as well.
But it occurred to me that we have just as much power to control the memes and conversation as the Trumpsters and other RWNJs. People are depressed and anxious about the constant stream of ugliness that pours into our lives from all the hatred and bigotry. So starting today, I plan to post at least one post on FB and DU that is informative in a positive way, uplifting, and hopefully inspiring. Who wants to join me in this endeavor?

How stupid is the MAGA-bomber?
I haven't heard yet if they were real or fake bombs. At the very least, they were meant to be chilling intimidation. Which if you think about it is patently stupid and downright ridiculous. No amount of intimidation would ever silence the recipients. If anything, those bombs will make them more determined to resist Trumpism and his neo-Fascist follers. The sender obviously doesn't know very much about the history and record of Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Maxine Waters. Barack Obama was, afterall, the guy who persistently and successfully got bin Laden. Hillary was the woman, who overcame an entrenched system that enabled disabled children to attend public schools. And Maxine Waters, well he sure picked the wrong black woman with that bomb. She is one fearsome black woman, who ain't afraid of nobody. I just hope the FBI catches this character before Joe Biden or De Niro get their hands on him. Oh my!
