The White House appreciates Rev. Franklin Grahams apology for questioning President Barack Obamas Christianity even though it didnt ask for one.
Mr. Graham, son of evangelist leader Rev. Billy Graham, made headlines earlier this month when he said on MSNBC that he wasnt sure about Mr. Obamas faith because he doesnt know whats in his heart.
Mr. Graham released an apology Wednesday, saying he accepts Mr. Obamas word that hes a Christian.
We didnt seek an apology, White House press secretary Jay Carney said when asked about it Wednesday. We certainly appreciate the sentiment expressed, and well leave it at that.

The Comedic Council of America is praying that Combover will follow through.....
This election is so important, Donald Trump told the home crowd on CNBC, he would seriously, seriously consider running for president if Rick Santorum won the nomination.
Trump has endorsed Mitt Romney, but previously flirted with the idea of campaigning.
Despite polls that showed his endorsement to be more of a liability than a boon, Trump appeared to take credit for Romneys win in Mormon-friendly Nevada. However the Apprentice host acknowledged that Romney hasnt been able to get over the hump and it would be impossible, he says, for Santorum to beat Barack Obama in the general election.
