I see "Democrats are to blame also" replies for the horrible Trump child separation policies. RESIST

Folks with mostly low counts are posting such nonsense. It seems to me some are trying to get us to fight each other not the evil Republicans who started this heinous policy. Don't let them! I have to go out ...not a hit and run, but I felt the need to post this now. I will reply to any and all responses when I get back...have a great morning! Resist Resist Resist!

CEO non-profit center who called police on Sen. trying to visit detained kids makes 770,866 a year.

"Critics are questioning why the CEO of a Texas nonprofit children's shelter that called police on Democratic Senator Jeff Merkley for trying to enter the facility, where detained immigrant children are held, is being paid as much as $770,860 a year.

The Southwest Key Programs (SKP) center in Brownsville, Texas, which receives state funding and houses undocumented children in cooperation with the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement's (ORR) unaccompanied minors program, has come under the spotlight after Merkley shared video online of shelter staff barring him from entering the facility, and calling the police on him
Merkley said "hundreds" of children were being housed at SKP's Brownsville location, many being minors separated from their families under a new "zero tolerance" policy announced last month that sees parents who arrive in the U.S. illegally separated from their children and taken to jail, while their young ones are sent to ORR shelters."

I learned later the CFO makes over $500,000

Rob Portman comes out against ripping kids out of the arms of parents as do other GOP types...

so for those who claim this story should be ignored...you are wrong. This was on the Andrea Mitchell report today.

Poll : What should our response be to Trump's policy of ripping undocumented children from their parents arms?

7 year old Boy dragged off bus in Memphis video. Disgusting abuse of a child. Don't defend this!

There is no excuse for such violence against a child. I was upset because on other posts...people here defended this.

"A 7-year-old boy from Memphis allegedly suffered a concussion after he was dragged off a school bus by his feet in an incident captured on video.

The boy, a student at Robert R. Church Elementary School, was forcibly removed from school bus by an unidentified male employee on April 12, FOX13 reported. Shortly before the video was recorded, the employee was allegedly breaking up a fight.

However, the boy’s mother, Kimberly Hardin, claimed her son was not involved in the incident.

Hardin first saw the video after the parent of another child at the school sent her the footage. She said the school district didn’t inform her about what happened until days after the incident occurred.

As a result of the school bus incident, the boy allegedly suffered a concussion and bruises, his mother said, adding that the 7-year-old was afraid to return to school as well.

A representative for Shelby County Schools told Fox News in a statement that the employee has been removed from his position, pending an investigation"

Update grabbed the wrong pic and in fixing this saw that this is not the first or last incident sadly so I am posting my search...the Pic of the kids being dragged off the bus including down the steps is in there along with dozens of other instances...very sad

Morning Joe talking about a Washington Post poll that claims the GOP has regained three points

in a 'who should control congress poll'. This is pitting generic candidates against known GOP candidates of course, but one of the reasons given is that there is 'division' in the Democratic Party because the 16 election has not been resolved, we have no clear leader and there is a failure to move on to younger candidates. I don't agree about Congress in 18. I think we have a great shot...a blue wave, but we need a younger candidate in 20 than in 16, and we need one not tainted by the disastrous election of 16. Neither Sanders, Clinton nor O'Malley should run in 20. We need to unite as a party behind younger candidates and move into the future leaving the divisions of 16 behind or the GOP will destroy us.
