Agreed. If the Republicans (the Koch brothers) take over in 2016 this will be a happy place again.

People will offer solutions how to make do in a new paradigm. Since they hate everything about the old one and all the people in it, their positive side will come out.

They will have good debates about how to implement civil libertarian ideology and forget the denial of civil rights that lead to income inequality. That complaint will be forgotten, too, because it'll be considered whining.

Happier days are ahead.

Wingnuts and other ideologues do not live in present time and space, but parrot what they heard on television and radio or the internet in the most dramatic way possible, like bad actors who can't tell the difference between volume and dog whistles and real drama.

They aren't thinking for themselves and don't appear to possess any self-awareness. Really, how can we take their ravings seriously?

Hi, ucrdem. A party based on helping the vulnerable and poor doesn't shut down government, because:

The current system still keeps people alive (transport, public order, healthcare for some, general order that enables the movement of necessities such as food to most people), and you can't let that all go at once without damage. And the president is responsible for keeping the current system functioning.

That's from Muriel. And that is what Obama is charged with saving. Those who are not on the edge don't have any problem with shutting it down. It is their luxury and they won't die because of it.
