Stalin, Hitler and Mussolini are more favored by conservatives than Obama.

It looks like that great escape won't be to Canada after all. But most of them have been brain washed by CT, so they think they know all about Russia. It's a cool place. Okay, cold as can be in the winter, but hey...

Russia may even want them, if they convert to one of the largest faiths there, Russian Orthodox or Islam. Since their real objection is religious, they might pick the Christian model. Since many may be Protestants, they may feel squeamish. But hey...

They will also have to be willing to live under the Russian conscription laws which may or may not be a good idea. Since many are chicken hawks, they likely think they can buy their way out of it and there's a good chance of that. But they may fail, as others have:

A significant portion of Russians of conscript age try to avoid conscription, mostly because of specific code of violence which has developed in the army since 1967 called Dedovshchina and also poor conditions in Russian Army, which makes large number of conscript-age Russian youth worry about their health or even lives while in the army...

Just not going to a draft station – draft-dodging. This is a criminal offence, punishable by up to two years in prison, depending on the time spent dodging. Russian police and military draft boards often perform conscription through detention [1]. Quite often the would-be recruit would avoid signing the papers that require to pass the board instead. Without that, the "invitation" is considered undelivered, and not showing up is not illegal. In practice, that means living a decade off the grid. This is countered by knocking the doors at 5 AM and having the recruit sign before he would become fully conscious...

The Russian voencoms respond by using increasingly illegal means, referring to non-existent laws and acts, "losing" documents that jeopardize the chance of a conscript being deemed fit for duty, and continuous psychological pressure, with 2011 probably being the apex due to a low birthrate in 1993. Those that attempted a medical discharge and failed are often punished for their resistance by assigning them to the worst units and jobs possible, e.g. a conscript with a heart defect was forced to volunteer for contract frontline service because he almost died hulking around 50-kilo cauldrons several times every day, since his defect was 3 mm rather than 5. Voencoms are rumored (no other source is simply possible) to have established an unofficial bonus system for every conscript, especially if he was unfit for duty and yet conscripted...

Oh my, Russia does not have a Bill of Rights. Or some of those others that are offensive to American conservatives. But not all is lost, for Russia is a mixed bag:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_rights_in_Russia

People so determined to take the rights of others in the USA, won't mind if they don't have a much bleeding heart liberal stuff over there.

Like Tom DeLay opined that he couldn't believe that a jury full of liberals would convict him. Since, they are all soft hearted.

I predict conservatives emigrating to Russia may have a change of heart and support Iran, Syria and others Russia does. They may even dump Israel off their prayer list.

BTW, I don't think talk of overthrowing government and killing their leaders will be protected as well as it is here, IDK. What do you guys think?

OTOH, taxes are low in Russia. But bribes are sometimes required. If they can jump through the hoops, I'm sure they'll fit right in!

Some take the work of the Democratic Party for granted. They have forgotten or ignored reality:

Democrats are the people doing the work, and not tearing down what works. The numbers I quote with links below show the many millions they serve and how they are helped by Democratic policies, which have been hampered by Republicans for decades.

The links below have been updated to show more participatns, legal changes and scrubbed a bit. For those who are not familiar with these programs, some overlap and some do not.

We are talking about well over a hundred million people getting the essentials of life right now. Not everyone needs these.

Contrasts between the Libertarian and Democratic Parties. Here is some info:

In 2012, over 56 million Americans will receive $778 billion in Social Security benefits.

http://www.ssa.gov/pressoffice/basicfact.htm

Medicaid is the nation’s largest health program in terms of number of recipients, serving 56 million to Medicare’s 48 million.

http://topics.nytimes.com/top/news/health/diseasesconditionsandhealthtopics/medicaid/index.html

More than a third of Americans lived in households receiving government assistance in 2010.

http://money.cnn.com/2012/02/07/news/economy/government_assistance/index.htm

More than 46.6 Million Americans Participated in SNAP in June 2012

http://frac.org/reports-and-resources/snapfood-stamp-monthly-participation-data/

The Libertarian Party Platform on Welfare:

http://www.lp.org/issues/poverty-and-welfare

The Libertarian Party Platform on Health care:

http://www.ontheissues.org/celeb/Libertarian_Party_Health_Care.htm

More Libertarian, Paul, Tea Party ideas that Democrats don't want:

Libertarians believe that taxes should be abolished along with all the programs and departments that taxes fund. Libertarians don’t believe in Medicare. Libertarians don’t believe in Social Security. Libertarians don’t believe that there should be fire departments, police departments, public transportation, grants for education, unemployment, disability, food stamps, and every other type of government system and assistance that you can think of.

Libertarians wish to eliminate taxes in order to eliminate all of the above programs and more. Libertarians believe that without these taxes, individuals will have more money in their pockets and will be able to afford all of these things. If someone is unable to provide themselves or their family with school, health care, or food, people need to rely on family members, church, or a private charity.

Libertarians believe that government’s role in the market should be to protect property owner’s rights. There should be no FDA, equal employment opportunities, unions, minimum wage, payroll taxes, safe food handling requirements, consumer protections, regulations that protect against financial conflicts of interest and fraud, and business licenses.

Libertarians believe that business owners should have the right to deny entry to minorities and/or women and/or people with disabilities, if that is how business owners wish to run their businesses.

That there are those who are not getting services, is not the fault of the Democrats, but Republicans.

It is they who cut the funding, because like Libertarians, they do not believe in taxing and paying for those who fall through the cracks, just let them go to the soup kitchen. The people who experience feeding a homeless person can go home afterward. But the poor are not helped by short term means, but by Democratic programs.

Those determined to change society are not in waiting for the future, but involved right now, as the needs of people cannot wait. People die when the government shuts down services.

Social Security and Medicaid keeps millions of people many will never meet, and have no idea exist, off the streets. Yet they disapprove of those who are doing the work to keep them alive and well, because it's a 'statist' thing. Because it's not ideologically pure enough.

But it's real, and taken for granted. Those people are real, and being taken care of by these programs. It has made too many feel complacent, as if those things were set in stone. They never are and need our help to keep going.

Compromises are made, which those who know people in the system know keep people alive now. People in need of a place to live, medical care and food to eat don't deserve to have to wait for people to visit and serve them food. We know that they need it everyday, just as they need a healthy living place and the security of knowing that it's going to keep coming. They need the government to do it, not individuals.

Democrats know taking care of millions of people is not something should be dependent on private charitable acts. That a social infrastructure needs to be in place for people that the vast majority of people do not know, have never met and whose needs are not temporary and cannot be taken care of during a few days visiting them and some that most people do not want to spend any time with, period.

Democrats are and do and will continue to help more people than charity ever will. Libertarians have a plan to end all government so there will be no votes needed. All back to the good old boys and corporations to say how our lives will be led. Their vision is just fine for those who can afford to stand tall and mock the people doing the work.

Ironic how those telling people to not vote for Democrats reflects exactly and facilitates the goals of the Libertarian party and GOP/Koch brothers plans for the poor, elderly, disabled and homeless.

Please note who and what these guys represent:

An Ominous Alliance: Militiamen Showing Up in Wisconsin as Mining Co. 'Security'

Imagine taking a hike in your local woods and coming upon characters toting semi-automatic weapons, dressed in camo and wearing masks. Then imagine finding out they are militia-movement followers hired by a mining operation to protect against "eco-terrorists." That's what's been happening to people living in northern Wisconsin lately...Kate Sheppard at Mother Jones has been on the scene and monitoring these developments:

Local activist Rob Ganson, 56, first came upon three heavily armed guards while leading a small group on a hike to view the mining site. (The drilling site is on private land, but the owner has been given a tax break in exchange for keeping it open to public use.) The guards, said Ganson, carried semi-automatic guns, were dressed in camouflage, and wore masks covering their faces...After they determined that the guards worked for Arizona-based Bulletproof Security, Ganson and the other activists posted their photos of the guards online, drawing local and national news coverage of the mine, a proposed four-mile-long, 1,000-feet-deep open pit operation in Ashland and Iron counties. In June, the company began exploratory drilling in the region for taconite, a type of iron ore used in steel.

Last Wednesday, the mining company, Gogebic Taconite—G-Tac for short—a subsidiary of the West Virginia-based Cline Group, pulled the armed guards after finding that the security firm lacked permits to work in the state. A spokesman for the company has said that the Bulletproof guards will be back once they're properly licensed.

One of the activists in the area, however, told Mother Jones on Monday that a new group of armed guards—including one whose shirt bore the insignia for Watchmen of America, a militia group active in at least 21 states—was on patrol last Thursday, the day after Gogebic Taconite pulled the Bulletproof guards. This was followed shortly by heated denials from the Watchmen...

As Mary Catherine O'Connor at Outside reports, this is all taking place in a context where the mining officials are labeling local protesters "eco terrorists" and using the flimsiest of pretexts to bring in militia-style thugs to intimidate the locals.

Let's hope Americans remember that in Italy and Germany, fascists first gained political traction and moved out of the fringe of politics in the 1920s when they were hired by large landowners and businessmen as thugs to beat up and harass union organizers and land reformers, all under the rubric of calling them "communists". This is an ominous development indeed.

With their own private militia prowling the woods around there, too:

I'm permited to disagree with Obama supporters. It's about saving lives. FYI:

This is a media spin story, and how they call Obama weak when he wasn't, just as the called him a warmonger when he wasn't.

Putin wasn't weak or wrong, either, as he was representing what the felt was Russia's interests. This goes beyond nations and oneupmanship.

Putin found a way to do the right thing. That's all that matters to me. I don't care about the credit or acclaim, it is so fleeting and people are fickle. The media is shallow and owned by the 1% to promote their interests.

As far as the babbling noises from media are concerned, War is good for their owners' business, and their ratings, Peace is bor-ring.

Not for me. Fuck 'em.

Okay for media pundits to degrade the learning disabled? Another epic empathy fail.

Do they ever listen to the words they spew and what they really mean?

They are tearing down everything that was ever good about the USA.

I'll leave it at that...

September 14, 2013

Why I don't support open of AR-15s. It's training us to accept RW warlords.

I'm on their 'domestic enemies' list. I know what their hyped 2nd Amendment Solution means for me.

The list is posted publicly everyday on hate radio and websites. The poor, disabled, minorities and those who don't go with their religion or ideology, are on that list.

Life in a war zone is no good. Fascists do no stop being fascists just because they use the language of the Constitution or are waving the American flag.

They are still fascists and are itching for violence to rob us of our rights and lives under the cover of war. The greatest fortunes in history were made this way. They talk openly of how it is their god-given right to have the land and wealth of this nation, that others should be enslaved or die to get out of their new, but really old, way of doing things.

I'm not in denial, no one should be. This guy is just one of millions who seek a new identity and cause since their privilege has been discredited. But they have enclaves from which they operate, in media, in states controlled by TP legislators and governors. They hold majority in the HoR in D.C.

I don't want to see liberal government come down on these guys, giving them the slightest moral standing for what they are doing. We'd better unify and be strong or they'll tear this nation apart for those who are ready to divide it up into fiefdoms.
