Naw, that stuff was just decomposing. While some may claim vinegar is from Satan:

Now pickles and sauerkraut... I am concerned.

Yes, more tiresome, threadbare pandering to RWNJs. He's not living up the high ideals in the

the video HillaryMOJO posted so graciously and did not bring out any negatives on him.

It turns me off his candidacy. The video sounded direct and strong and that appeals to some. That's all some candidates have, faux strength, a 'masculine' aspect.

I'm disappointed he has gone negative on Obama and HRC many times. Why not promote is ideals in a singular fashion, if he's right? Is he running against Democrats, not the GOP?

His manager also called Bernie 'crazy.' Now the whole of the DNC is being asked to apologize for the words of one man who doesn't speak for all. That is not fair but it appeals to those who are anti-Hillary, as if they are for the anti-establishment candidate.

Hillary is an anti-establishment candidate, but some prefer CT to what the woman has done with her life, instead.

For that matter, Bernie is pretty much part of the establishment, having voted for the F-35 for jobs for his state (why no outcry about the MICC?), and voted for the first AUMF for Bush to go into Afghanistan (flogging the 'HRC voted for the Iraq War, that's the ultimate offense to ME!' doesn't hold water) and he voted for paying for every Iraq War funding bill:

I have nothing against that, the world isn't perfect and most of us know that. Bernie doesn't go negative, especially vs Hillary.

Ignorance gone to seed is going to destroy this nation. And there are those who are promoting it and have a lot of money invested in destroying us. It is pure profit from their POV, as chaos gives them the opportunity to loot.

Excellent read, quotes and images. I've found this to be true:

"Sometimes it’s not good to look too far down the road… Having long-term dreams is a good thing… but having a plan has never worked for me, because life always intervenes."

The men also rejoice to see these women free:

The look on her face is anguished, as if to say, I want this *thing* off me!

It's obvious the burka was not worn voluntarily by them. They aren't just shedding the burka, but the loathesome lives they were being subjected to.

Hurray for the men. Hurray for all who helped free them. Some good is being doen in this world...

You did great. But they suck all the oxygen out of the room. It's the weekend and we need a break.

Journey - Be Good To Yourself

Runnin' out of self-control
Gettin' close to an overload
Up against a no win situation
Shoulder to shoulder, push and shove
I'm hangin' up my boxin' gloves
I'm ready for a long vacation

Be good to yourself when, nobody else will
Oh be good to yourself
You're walkin' a high wire, caught in a cross fire
Oh be good to yourself

When you can't give no more
They want it all but you gotta say no
I'm turnin' off the noise that makes me crazy
Lookin' back with no regrets
To forgive is to forget
I want a little piece of mind to turn to

Be good to yourself when, nobody else will
Oh be good to yourself
You're walkin' a high wire, caught in a cross fire
Oh be good to yourself
Be good to yourself when, nobody else will

Thanks, you really ran the threads very well.

This version of the Obama Eulogy to Beau Biden, is the second one I've seen.

This first version was more powerful, but yours is more complete:

Journaling both. Thanks for posting this.

It's a good message, all of it straight from heart to heart. It spoke so much of mortality.

But as I considered the hateful atmosphere in the USA, it was disturbing, almost prophetic. Prior to JFK and MLK, Jr. being taken from us, I didn't hear as many calls for their demise as I now hear and read by those openly calling for Obama's death, as if to wipe his name and all he has sought to do from the face of the Earth.

“From whence shall we expect the approach of danger? Shall some trans-Atlantic military giant step the earth and crush us at a blow? Never. All the armies of Europe and Asia... could not by force take a drink from the Ohio River or make a track on the Blue Ridge in the trial of a thousand years.

No, if destruction be our lot we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of free men we will live forever or die by suicide.”

~ Abraham Lincoln

And they killed Lincoln, too. Obama spoke eternal words, that transcend our temporary time on Earth, in a tone that I've only heard by MLK, Jr. in his last speech.

There are not many people willing to stick their necks out to be killed, and I predict there will be less with the hatred, pettiness and ignorance I see on display daily online. We are a degraded nation and Obama has been better than we deserved.

They've been practicing openly shooting down them gummint spies for years in Texas:

Drones Shot Down Over Texas

Published on May 29, 2012

Video Description by Infowars:

Following columnist Charles Krauthammer's observation that the first person to shoot down a surveillance drone on U.S. soil will be a "folk hero," gun enthusiasts in Texas have done precisely that as a protest against the use of spy drones on the American people.

Using consumer drones as target practice, Alex Jones and the Steiner brothers tested out the best way to bring down the drones on the 10,000 acre Steiner ranch as part of filming for Brothers in Arms, a new show which focuses on firearms and the second amendment.

With spy drones now commercially available for less than $1,000 dollars that are barely any different from the ones being used by police departments to spy on the public, Jones and the Steiners made short work of the devices during filming.

This was an exercise in pushing the message that the use of surveillance drones in U.S. skies must be politically shot down because it represents a complete violation of the 4th amendment right to privacy.

Congress recently passed legislation paving the way for what the FAA predicts will be somewhere in the region of 30,000 drones in operation in US skies by 2020.

Privacy advocates have warned that the FAA has not acted to establish any safeguards whatsoever, and that lawmakers are not holding the agency to account.

In addition, A recently uncovered Air Force document circumvents laws and clears the way for the Pentagon to use drones to monitor the activities of Americans.

Incidents involving the drones in recent months have hardly provided positive spin for the industry, which is why Americans are set to witness a massive PR campaign that will "bombard the American public with positive images and messages about drones in an effort to reverse the growing perception of the aircraft as a threat to privacy and safety."

Earlier this month, a mystery object, thought to be a military or law enforcement drone, flying in controlled airspace over Denver almost caused a catastrophic mid air crash with a commercial jet.

Last summer, police in North Dakota used a Predator drone to spy on a family who refused to give back back three cows and their calves that wandered onto their 3,000-acre farm.

Watch out for the next episode in which you'll see a full size drone blasted out of the sky. Watch the first installment of Brothers in Arms below.

'Da Dronz, Da Dronz!' merely refocused their enemy from the black helicopter days. You know, when they were coming for the Patriots who supported Ron Paul. They have their sights aimed on all 'Federales' and support either Rand or Cruz for POTUS in 2016.

Although shooting the helicopter may have been a cartel action. Los Zetas are a factor in both Texas and Mexico:

Los Zetas (pronounced: [los ˈsetas], Spanish for "The Z's&quot is a powerful and violent criminal syndicate in Mexico, and is considered by the U.S. government to be the "most technologically advanced, sophisticated, and dangerous cartel operating in Mexico."[6][7] The origins of Los Zetas date back to the late 1990s when commandos of the Mexican Army's forces deserted their ranks and decided to work as the armed wing of the Gulf Cartel, a drug trafficking organization.[8][9] In February 2010, Los Zetas broke away from their former employer and formed their own criminal organization.[10][11]

Los Zetas are well armed and equipped, and unlike other traditional criminal organizations in Mexico, drug trafficking makes up only around 50% of their revenue, while a large portion of their income comes from other activities directed against both rival drug cartels and civilians;[8] their brutal tactics, which include beheadings to terrorize their rivals and, torture and indiscriminate slaughter, show that they often prefer brutality over bribery.[8] Los Zetas are also Mexico's largest drug cartel in terms of geographical presence, overtaking its rivals, the Sinaloa Cartel.[12] Los Zetas also operate through protection rackets, assassinations, extortion, kidnappings, and other criminal activities.[13] The organization is based in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, directly across the border from Laredo, Texas.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Zetas

Many of them are former military with the money, knowledge and a vested interest in not having their 'privacy' interfered with while they continue to terrorize the people of Mexico in a state like a war zone and kill anyone who opposes them.

I suspect this news blurb is about ALL we'll hear on this incident, not the how, why or who did it. Just another piece of 'reality' to be used by the media to get people upset. Of course this is real life for those who were shot at down there.

A song about missing him in January 2009:

That was 2009. I would have voted for his re-election at any time since then, but had to wait until 2012 to vote for him again.

It was the last time that Barack Obama would be sworn in as president of the United States and he wanted to savor the moment...

Obama began walking off the inaugural platform to go into the Capitol.

He stopped and turned around to look at the scene on the National Mall, filled with hundreds of thousands of people who braved chilly weather to be part of the ceremony.

"I want to take a look, one more time... "I'm not going to see this again," he said.

I've tried to celebrate every day that he's been POTUS. We'll be missing him for a long time. We have been blessed:

VIDEO with Barbara Jordan and the backstory to today's event at TSU:

This video is about many things, skip to @5:20 to hear about the famous Barbara Jordan. It's a short clip of her keynote speech at the DNC and it's very clear what the Democratic Party stands for and makes me wonder how anyone could reject it.

Her sonorous voice is not as apparent there, but to me as a teenager it was an important part of the background of my life, and it was a special time. I thought it would never end, even though the seeds to destroy our vision had already been planted.

Listen to her elucidate what we believe. It's the kind of inspiration we had then, and don't have now. Let's work on these ideas, not the horse race the media makes the process seem so cheap, everyone. Real lives are at stake.

It also goes into just a small part of the stories of those who have been disenfanchised by the GOP.
