In 1997 syndicated talk show host Art Bell received a frantic call from a man claiming to have worked in Area 51. The entire radio station was zapped off the air as soon as the caller began to reveal detailed plans concerning "aliens" the government, and the population.

Bell did a number of shows before he left the country, and nightly blamed the government for trying to shut him up from telling their secrets. (He didn't ever talk about his teenage girl friend who became his wife.) Sound familiar?

It was a late night meeting place of people because you could pick up the signal almost anywhere. I listened to it in WA when he was broadcasting from NV.

Being conducted in real time, it was tantalizing and ramped up the fears of a number of people, some I knew who were educated but anxious, really believed him.

Classic suspense theatre in the line of fiction based with reality like Welle's broadcast. An older generation spent nights listening to The Shadow and other fictions that appealed to their model of heroes and villains, just as these do now.

Jones just took off where he left off. Noory, Jones, Icke, all travel in the same circles. Always have the special knowledge, that if one buys into it, suddenly one is awake and all the rest of those who aren't true believers are either sheeple or tools.

Icke is known for using the term sheeple (all disagreeing people are dumb sheep - sheeple), but it's as old as some of the Nazi era writings, maybe longer than that.

Just my humble opinion, sorry if that hurts your feelings if you're still a fan of this stuff. No offense intended.

President's Obama's Statement on the Boston Bombing:

6:10PM ET - Obama issued a statement regarding the Boston Bombings. Transcript below:

"Good afternoon, everybody. Earlier today I was briefed by my homeland security team on the events in Boston. We're continuing to monitor and respond to the situation as it unfolds, and I've directed the full resources of the federal government to help state and local authorities protect our people, increase security around the United States, as necessary, and investigate what happened. The American people will say a prayer for Boston tonight, and Michelle and I send our deepest thoughts and prayers to the families of the victims in the wake of this senseless loss.

We don't yet have all the answers, but we do know that multiple people have been wounded, some gravely, in explosions at the Boston Marathon. I've spoken to FBI Director Mueller and Secretary of Homeland Secretary Napolitano, and they're mobilizing the appropriate resources to investigate and to respond.

I've updated leaders of Congress in both parties, and we reaffirm that on days like this there are no Republicans or Democrats; we are Americans united in concern for our fellow citizens.

I've also spoken with Governor Patrick and Mayor Menino, and made it clear that they have every single federal resource necessary to care for the victims and counsel the families. And above all, I made clear to them that all Americans stand with the people of Boston.

Boston police, firefighters, and first responders, as well as the National Guard, responded heroically and continue to do so as we speak.

It's a reminder that so many Americans serve and sacrifice on our behalf every single day, without regard to their own safety, in dangerous and difficult circumstances. And we salute all those who assisted in responding so quickly and professionally to this tragedy.

We still do not know who did this or why. And people shouldn't jump to conclusions before we have all the facts. But make no mistake, we will get to the bottom of this, and we will find out who did this. We'll find out why they did this. Any responsible individuals, any responsible groups, will fill the full weight of justice.

Today's a holiday in Massachusetts, Patriot's Day. It's a day that celebrates the free and fiercely independent spirit that this great American city of Boston has reflected from the earliest days of our nation, and it's a day that draws the world to Boston's streets in a spirit of friendly competition.

Boston is a tough and resilient town, so are its people. I'm supremely confident that Bostonians will pull together, take care of each other, and move forward as one proud city, and as they do, the American people will be with them every single step of the way.

You should anticipate that as we get more information, our teams will provide you briefings. We're still in the investigation stage at this point. But I just want to reiterate, we will find out who did this, and we will hold them accountable. Thank you very much."

Federal workers I know knew exactly which code he broke and were disgusted. Half the nation was stunned while the other half cheered watching Fox and will never care they broke the law.

The convictions listed were not under GOP majority. They have installed a much cruder style of governance based solely on a system of patronage, more in keeping with mobsters than people in elected office. For them, laws will always be trumped by clan loyalty and personal profit gained by it.

McConnell's fantastic increase of wealth during his years of office are due to one factor. He should be the illustration used in dictionaries.

Venality is a vice associated with being bribeable or of selling one's services or power, especially when one should act justly instead. In its most recognizable form, dishonesty, venality causes people to lie and steal for their personal advantage, and is related to bribery and nepotism, among other vices.

Venality in its mild form is a vice notable especially among those with government or military careers. In these fields, one is supposed to act with justice and honor and not accept bribes. That ensures that the organization is not susceptible to self-interested parties. For people to accept settlements and legislation, the acts of the government must be seen as just. This perception enhances the legitimacy of the government.

Venality is a term often used with reference to pre-revolutionary France, where it describes the then-widespread practice of selling administrative positions within the government to the highest bidder, especially regarding the Nobles of the Robe.

The Oxford English Dictionary defines it as:

1. The quality or fact of being for sale.

2. The quality of being venal; readiness to give support or favour in return for profit or reward; prostitution of talents or principles for mercenary considerations.

In contrast to the previous interpretation, dishonesty is not specifically expressed in the literal meaning, but is often implied. The condition of failing to act justly is not a literal component of the word's meaning either. By definition, committing "venal" acts does not indicate "stealing" or "lying", but rather suggests a consensual arrangement, perhaps without conscience or regard for consequences, but is not synonymous with stealing. While bribery could be related, nepotism clearly has no literal similarity or correlation with venality.

Though venality is generally used as a pejorative term, an individual or entity could be venal (or mercenary) and not be corrupt or unethical. One could perform one's duties or job in a perfunctory manner in order to collect a wage or payment, or prostitute one's time or skills for monetary or material gain, without necessarily being dishonest.

Much contemporary use of the words venal or venality is applied to modern professional athletes, particularly baseball, basketball, American football, and soccer players all around the world. The implication being that the highly-paid players are essentially "hired guns" with no allegiance to any team or city, and are motivated solely by the acquisition of material wealth.

Several so-called Reality TV programs have been criticized for their promotion of venal behavior; specifically Who Wants to Marry a Multi-Millionaire?, in which fifty women competed to marry a presumed multi-millionaire who was shown only in silhouette. The premise that the contestants would compete to marry an unseen stranger for no other reason than his wealth would be an example of venality.

"Venality" used in a pejorative but accurate sense, is used when describing apparent acts of care with an ulterior mercenary motive. An example is where one of a number of children seeks to care for his or her elderly parents, outwardly presenting compassion, but at the same time securing for himself or herself, access to and ultimate control of a greater share of income and assets than such person would be entitled to on a pro-rata distribution.

This needs to go viral. I remember seeing William Hogarth's horrific engravings in school:

The Four Stages of Cruelty

Four Stages of Cruelty is a series of four printed engravings published by English artist William Hogarth in 1751. Each print depicts a different stage in the life of the fictional Tom Nero.

Beginning with the torture of a dog as a child in the First stage of cruelty, Nero progresses to beating his horse as a man in the Second stage of cruelty, and then to robbery, seduction, and murder in Cruelty in perfection.

Finally, in The reward of cruelty, he receives what Hogarth warns is the inevitable fate of those who start down the path Nero has followed: his body is taken from the gallows after his execution as a murderer and is mutilated by surgeons in the anatomical theater.

The prints were intended as a form of moral instruction; Hogarth was dismayed by the routine acts of cruelty he witnessed on the streets of London. Issued on cheap paper, the prints were destined for the lower classes.

The series shows a roughness of execution and a brutality that is untempered by the humorous touches common in Hogarth's other works, but which he felt was necessary to impress his message on the intended audience. Nevertheless, the pictures still carry the wealth of detail and subtle references that are characteristic of Hogarth.

I've seen and had to deal with both intense human and animal cruelty. There is no excuse for this going on. If Governor Haley doesn't act, she is no better than Representative King who supports dog and cock fighting in his state, IIRC.

There is something to be said for being a bleeding heart liberal. I'll take one of them, or a Catholic priest who blesses animals, any day of the week over these atrocious persons.

Yeah, we don't hear much about the legalization of Republican Rape, do we?

All thanks to 2010. If it goes this way again, and from what I see here it will, because people want to be wooed, get a thrill or sold something they like, instead of looking at the big picture, it'll be that way forever.

The Koch brothers are not playing around, they pay for this on both sides of the aisle, and I don't mean in Congress, but the consciousness of Americans. Oh well...

They were too late taking Beck's advice to flee civilization. Perhaps they couldn't speak Spanish as

suggested by Eric Dondero while doing his swan song after Obama won in November.

They've scrubbed the epic meltdown page, which had Eric saying he would fight for liberty the only way he could, by yelling at checkout clerks about how people getting electronic food stamps were stealing from him and posting yard signs calling the poors thieves, etc. I saved it as a pdf, but now the link is gone.

Freedom fighter or storm trooper Eric has returned with his tail between his legs but still yapping. In today's news, he rails on how a Jewish florist was just forced to sell flowers to some Neo-Nazis, er, gays, for a wedding by the commies in Washington state and from there goes to other themes that the anti-Obama libertarians love.

However, he does have nice words for Angelina Jolie's school for girls opening in Afghanistan and hopes she can pay for some good security for it.

Before he had said the only liberty is down in Latin America (Alex Jones says so, too) so that freedom loving Americans must learn Spanish. He also has a deal on a Spanish book for sale on the site.

Unfortunately the commies in Cuba turned the patriot parents over to the commie government here in the USA. I think I'll skip whatever Alex has to say today about this, I'm sure he's got a full head of crazy on about there is no place free left on his Prison Planet. But that's always been the case...

I listened to his diatribe on this one yesterday. Americans forced to flee to Cuba to save the kids

from the Evil State, er grandparents, who must be government stooges.

He didn't mention the part about the Journey to Armageddon. But did mention Obama's totally faked poll of people supporting gun regulation -- the trigger for mass gun confiscation.

He explained how the government engineered killing kids in Newtown. The government made this happen by denying the right to carry guns by the teachers. And mass killers are on drugs and government mind control as part of Obama's evil psyops. He claimed that they could even make him do crazy things if they wanted to.

The end result of all this will force all parents to turn their children over the State at child indoctrination centers while the mercenaries will beat down the doors seizing guns.

On a lighter note, he offered a slick commercial of how to profit on the coming revolution by selling black t-shirts with an 'Obama the tyrant' image on the front and the image of an assault rifle on the back with the legend, 'Come and get 'em.'

Also you can sell Infowars magazines, DVDs and bumper stickers to show the NWO that you won't let them steal your liberty. Don't forget the special on water filters, either.
