Poll: Pete Hoekstra well ahead of Clark Durant in Michigan's Republican U.S. Senate race

A new poll done for the Detroit Free Press and several Michigan TV stations shows Pete Hoekstra well ahead of Clark Durant in Michigan’s U.S. Senate race on the Republican side.

The poll was done by EPIC-MRA of Lansing and released Tuesday. The Detroit Free Press reports that Hoekstra had support from 51 percent of those surveyed, while Durant was at 27 percent. Randy Hekman was at 4 percent while Gary Glenn, who has dropped out of the race to support Durant, was at 3 percent.

About 15 percent were undecided, the newspaper reported on its website.

The poll was conducted July 28-29. The survey of 800 likely voters has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.

Which Olympic sports do not cost a fortune to train for?

I know it costs a lot to travel to various meets around the world, but I've been wondering which sports to not cost a fortune to train for. Logic tells me that Trck/Field, Swimming, Soccer and Basketball (minus he NBA players) can be accessed through high school and college. There are boxing clubs all over major metropolitan areas. Logic also tells me that Cycling and Gymnastics would be at the highest end.
