:largeSanders Town Hall participants doxxed, harassed by ALLEGED supporters after asking questions.
At a CNN town hall meeting Monday night, Sanders was asked many tough questions, including ones about his never-released tax returns, his stance on the ongoing crisis in Venezuela, and whether or not he supports reparations for African-Americans. One of the toughest, asked by a female college student, concerned the recently-revealed sexual harassment scandals that occurred during his last presidential campaign in 2016 as well as his response to them, when he said on Anderson Cooper 360 that while said events transpired, he was a little bit busy running around the country trying to be elected president.
How can a voter like me [a woman of color] feel confident in your ability to represent the party? she asked. Sanders replied that his response to Cooper was taken out of context (even though she had quoted it to him word for word), and told moderator Wolf Blitzer that he took the issue very seriously.
The next day, Sanders fan Progressive Blacksmith (handle ProgBlacksmith1) tweeted information about this questioner to his followers.
This activity is called Doxxing, which Merriam-Webster defines, in part, as publicly identify[ing] or publish[ing] private information
especially as a form of punishment or revenge.
When Sanders senior advisor Josh Orton told him that his actions were inappropriate, he responded meekly, There seem to be conflicting opinions on this, so everyone is entitled to it.
Well, Im expressing mine. Its not helpful, Orton replied.
Okay, cool
I dont agree with you. Not sure what else you want me to say, ProgBlacksmith1 said.
But that didnt stop him from harassing other women, such as writer Leah McElrath, who criticized his actions and found herself attacked by other Sanders supporters for doing so.

Border Patrol Fed Pork To Muslim Detainee For Six Days
PORT ISABEL, Texas Despite holding a permit entitling him to work in the United States, Adnan Asif Parveen found himself lying on the cold floor of a Border Patrol detention facility with an aluminum sheet for a blanket.
Even if he hadnt been crammed into a gated room with three dozen migrants recently arrested at the border, it would have been difficult to sleep. His wife didnt know where he was. And he had barely eaten. For the six days he spent in Border Patrols custody last month, he said the only food he received was a pork sandwich every eight hours. He explained that as a Muslim, he had to refuse. When the guards offered nothing else, he picked off the meat and ate just the bread.
Customs and Border Protection declined to comment on the case, citing privacy concerns. A spokeswoman referred HuffPost to the agencys detention standards, which require its officers to remain cognizant of a detainees religious or other dietary restrictions.
A few days after Asifs arrest, two officers with Immigration and Customs Enforcement came to interview him about possible terrorist ties, he said. They took his phone and searched his contact list and social media. They asked if at the mosque they say anything against the USA government, Asif told HuffPost. I said, no, the mosque is where you go to pray.
Its unclear what couldve prompted the questioning, other than Asifs national origin and religion. ICE declined to comment on the case. Asif has no criminal record in the United States, where hes lived since 2014, according to his lawyer Cathy Potter. He says he has no record in Spain, where he was raised, or in Pakistan, where he was born.
Several times over Asifs six days in Border Patrols custody, agents presented him with paperwork authorizing his deportation to Spain and asked if he wanted to sign. The last time, Asif was visibly upset. When one of the agents asked why, Asif said he was worried about his wife back in Ohio, who struggles with her health. The agent allowed him to make a five-minute phone call. When she answered, Asif found she had flown to Texas days earlier to look for him. After he hung up, he flatly refused to sign his deportation order.

Sources: Beto O'Rourke won't challenge John Cornyn for Senate, paving way for presidential bi
Beto O'Rourke has decided not to run for U.S. Senate next year against Texas Republican incumbent John Cornyn and likely will announce a campaign for president soon, people close to the former El Paso congressman told The Dallas Morning News on Wednesday.
Numerous people close to O'Rourke said they expect him to announce his presidential campaign within weeks. O'Rourke on Wednesday wouldn't reveal his political plans except to say he has made up his mind.
"Amy and I have made a decision about how we can best serve our country," he said in an exclusive statement to The Dallas Morning News. "We are excited to share it with everyone soon."
Since his close but historic loss to GOP Sen. Ted Cruz in November, O'Rourke has been weighing how to "best serve the country." His political options have been to run for president or against Cornyn.

Matt Gaetz Under Investigation By Florida State Bar Over Michael Cohen Threat
The Florida Bar has opened an investigation into whether Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) violated professional conduct rules by threatening former Trump fixer Michael Cohen ahead of Cohens congressional testimony on Wednesday.
The organization, which licenses lawyers to practice in the state, would not disclose details of the investigation, but spokesperson Francine Walker, said the bar is quite aware of [Gaetzs] comments...and we have opened an investigation.
If rules have been violated, The Florida Bar will vigorously pursue appropriate discipline by the Florida Supreme Court, Walker said in a statement. The Florida Bar takes its responsibility of regulating lawyer conduct very seriously.

Wait, Trump's lawyers instructed Cohen to lie to Congress?
So his legal team is also in jeopardy?
As I read about today's hearing, all I can do is
Sit t back and enjoy my beverage knowing that everything I said, did and spent to get a Democratic House was worth it.

Pakistani fighter jets shot down two Indian aircraft on Wednesday, according to a military spokesman, in a dramatic escalation just one day after the Indian Air Force bombed a terrorist training camp inside Pakistan.
Pakistans air force "shot down two Indian aircraft inside Pakistani airspace," said military spokesman Asif Ghafoor. One of the aircraft fell inside Pakistan-controlled Kashmir, and the other crashed on Indias side of the Line of Control. An Indian pilot ejected over Pakistani territory and was arrested, he said.
Pakistans air force struck at targets inside Indian-controlled Kashmir on Wednesday, but did so from their own airspace, according to a separate statement from Pakistans foreign ministry.
"We have no intention of escalation, but are fully prepared to do so if forced into that paradigm. That is why we undertook the action with clear warning and in broad daylight," the Pakistan foreign ministry statement said.
The latest reports come a day after Indian Air Force jets bombed a terrorist training camp inside Pakistan. Indias rupee reversed gains, while Pakistans benchmark stock index plunged 3 percent at 11:07 a.m. in Karachi.
