royable's JournalOne of the several nasty things that the defendant's posting accomplishes
is to simple keep the defendant in your head all week and weekend, on HIS terms. How could he post that? Whats he going to say on Monday? Whats he going to reveal? Is he sane? Is he perfectly aware hes gaslighting us or does he really believe it all?
It doesnt matter. The defendant is doing the schtick that he always does, perhaps a bit more frenetically than usual, but this is the same old same old.
Instead of thinking about his garbage, we should read the Fulton County indictment and the charges against him, or watch a classic film or see a new play or listen to a love song or great symphony or read an inspiring essay or biography or classic novel or fresh poem. Or take a walk or be creative or cook a beautiful meal or plan a fun party or make a new friend.
He wants you to think about HIM. Thinking about his crap gives him rent free lodging in your brain. Hes pouring haystack over the pile of needles that are set to prick him like hes never experienced before in his empty, sad, narcissistic life.
The defendants garbage RIGGERS dog whistle should go right into the pile of material that the jury will consider so as to convict him and submit him to the meat grinder of justice. Im going to do my best to think as little as possible about this sorry excuse for a human and his sorry attempts to drive the narrative, and go on with my week.
Ive had my fill of this worthless troll.
Who wants to be the last to die in a war? Who wants to be next to be injured by a driverless car?
I know, I know, people cause accidents with their cars all the time. It feels weird to have a robot doing it instead.
Who wrote that headline?
If the scientists repeat something for the 2nd time, then they're doing it for the 3rd time.
Cause if repeating something for the second time means you're doing it for the 2nd time, then repeating it for the first time means you're doing it for the first time, which means you're not repeating it.
(AI's mind blown, it melts down into a silicon puddle.)
However, thanks for posting, groundloop!
Well, if splitting hairs, being prepared to comply is not the same as agreeing to comply.
This is apparently all part of his process of preparing to comply...
right after he gets back into power and has everyone responsible executed, so he doesn't need to comply any more.
And that avatar graphic! Yeeech! Years ago before becoming inured to such things, I used to think it was pretty awful to have the American flag emblazoned on briefs, but this is much worse.
Beautiful little town, remote place. Campobello tight across the bridge is gorgeous
and theres lots of wonderful scenery, and few people, in eastern ME and nearly New Brunswick. At John, Grand Manan. Many large quiet lakes of eastern ME too.
But its not extremely remote. Only 1-3/4 hours to Ellsworth, and 2-1/4 hours to Bangor or St John NB The road from Calais to St John is restricted access divided Highway like an interstate highway, very smooth and fast.
NETLYD.
Not Everyone Thinks Like You Do.
And I can safely say that, not thinking like anyone else.
Its a good maxim to live by.
Beaautiful! Thank you for helping to keep the wilderness healthy!
I passed by Lemmon Rock lookout last weekend on my first hike on the control road since the burn in the summer of 2020, and was thinking of you, how lucky you are to be in the lookouts you love again after being concerned that you would have to call it quits. A few more of the pines in the stand at the end of the control road had been burnt (a stand which had barely survived the two big burns of the early 2000s),, but it looked as though the fire had mostly just swept through clearing out the underbrush. I was relieved to see that, along the control road in general, the burn was not as severe as on the north slopes of the Santa Catalinas along Reef of Rocks, Red Ridge Trail, and Oracle Ridge Trail, where pretty much everything had been incinerated in a firestorm in that 2020 fire.
I generally agree with you, but....
The recent severe flooding in Vermont could as easily happened in western Maine.
The infrastructure along Maines 3000 mile coastline is going to be in a mess as sea level rises. Roads, bridges, ports, towns, factories. Look at a contour map to see how much of Maine is less than (take your pick) 10, 20, 40 feet elevation.
When I was young, central Maine used to frequently have three week spells in winter when the temps never got above zero. That doesnt happen any more. The number of days over 80 in the summer has skyrocketed though.
Climate change has introduced the spruce budworm, disease spreading ticks and all sort of other nasty creatures.
But, if anyone can handle these challenges, its resilient Mainahs.
I saw it last week and loved it.
I found it funny and fascinating and Ive continued to ruminate on it every day since. Ive seen all of Wes Andersons films but one (his first), and while it may not have been the one I liked most, it was near the top. From several peoples comments, it sounds to me as though you were expecting or at least hoping for the film to be more traditional, and thats not what Anderson does.
The several other theatre goers at the late showing I attended liked it too, I would say. There were lots of laughs and chuckles throughout, and no one left early. My two cents.
